Part of the massive Three Valleys areas, Les Menuires combines purpose built convenience with awesome skiing and a good choice of amenities.

One of the original purpose-built resorts, Les Menuires was the place to come for a budget-conscious alternative to other Three Valley resorts. Whilst not pretty, it provided convenient, affordable accommodation.

The resort was given something a facelift for the 1992 Albertville Olympics and new developments since have included more luxurious accommodation, a church in resort centre and the growth of satellite areas at Reberty, Les Bruyeres and Preyerand.

Most of the accommodation is completely ski-in ski-out, plus there is La Masse - with its challenging slopes, not often visited by the rest of the Three Valleys skiers.

Les Menuires' local ski area is on both sides of the valley. The Pointe de La Masse, at 2805m, is accessed by a gondola and a chair. At the top are the starting points for various itinerary runs and the black Dame Blanche.

The other side of the resort will lead you to the Meribel valley. Val Thorens and St Martin de Belleville are easily reached. Courchevel takes longer.

There is a terrain park, a snowboard cross course, and lots of snow cannons to maintain coverage on the sunny slopes leading back to Les Menuires.
