"The team at Le Chamois were AMAZING with our group of 22 (somewhat unruly) friends and family in the first week of January 2014. With a full breakfast each morning, a delicious cake after skiing, a quick dip in the hot tub before aperitifs and canapes at 7pm, and then a full 3 course meal - it was the most relaxing ski holiday most of us have had! Not only did the staff remember all of our names, they went above and beyond to help us out during the week. We'll definitely be back! January 18th 2014 Tripadvisor" 07 Aug 14

"This is our 4th trip with Powder and Shine - 2nd time in Le Chamois and we were not disappointed. The Chalet Hosts George & Jess were fantastic - always on hand and very attentive. Chef Tom is a little star - his food was both delicious and filling after a great day riding in one of the best areas in France. Ski-in Ski-out with a little detour to La Ferme for a drink on the way back. Great snow! You really don't need anything more for a perfect week.

The owners - Steve and Fran - have got their chalets just perfect and we will definitely be back for more soon.

Thanks again to you all for another fab holiday

"“Stay here. You'll not regret it!” Review on Trip Advisor 26 dec 2012

So much to say about Le Chamois! I'll keep it brief. But where to start?
Oh, I know. The chalet staff: Matt, Ben and Jess were so accommodating, as were owners Steve and Fran. No task was too big, or small. A real personal approach. Ben and Jess keep the conversation flowing (as well as the beautiful wines), while Matt whisks up some of the best food I've ever tasted. All this in a beautiful, warm, spacious chalet.
If you needed any lunchtime tips, the team were always on hand to offer guidance. Whether it be gourmet dining, local menus, or 'fast' food. You know you can trust the team at Powder N Shine.
Oh, how can I not mention the skiing conditions! The position within the Three Valleys makes it easy to explore the whole area with ease. Lunch in Courchevel, afternoon cocktails in Meribel, then a touch of apres back in Reberty. Commuting has never been such fun. We even managed to spend time skiing with the staff - a telling indication of just how amiable they are.
I'll be going back, and next time I'm bringing my family.

""A Cut Above" Review on Trip Advisor on 4 October 2013

Having stayed here with a large group last February, we were incredibly impressed with many aspects of our stay. We filled the whole chalet but never felt cramped, the location was superb, chalet staff second to none and it really was a luxury skiing holiday! Travelling with children was hassle free for once as the childcare was fantastic, staff were social and informative, the chef did a wonderful job feeding us and the children to a very high standard. The hot tub was a huge bonus as was the playroom downstairs and heated bootroom. Best thing about the holiday? Feeling secure about your kiddies having fun if they're not skiing with you and the personal touch to make the holiday taylor made to your requirements - thanks to Francesca's organising! Jess and Ben were outstanding and Matt kept the kitchen in great order! So good in fact that we're coming again next February!!

""What a fun time" Review in Trip Advisor 6 October 2013

We've just signed up for a second time, bringing the whole family with us to La Chamois for a glorious winter vacation. Our experience last year was really wonderful: the chalet was roomy and comfortable (and the kids were not underfoot all the time), it was a great ski-in/ski-out location and the Powder N Shine team pampered us outrageously with great food and wine while making sure unobtrusively that all systems were working properly. We really had a great time, which is why we're coming back.

"The chalet is amazing - warm, comfortable, meticulously clean, homely, 30 seconds from the piste, 20 seconds from La Ferme Bar. And thats before even mentioning the Jacuzzi and Sauna room - perfect for winding down after a long day racing on the slopes.
Next stop, catering. The food served up by Fran is second to none. And thats not just comparing to what you would expect from chalet food, the delights she serves up on a daily basis wouldn't be out of place at a top top end restaurant. You will be served hot and cold breakfast, afternoon cake, little fancy h'orderves pre dinner, then the main event - 3 course dinner followed by an awesome cheeseboard. This is all washed down with some exceptional locally produced wine.
The hosts. They are absolute naturals and go out of their way to help ensure that ALL of their guests, young or old, have the best possible holiday. Steve's knowledge of the mountains is immense. If you don't know the area - ask - and you will be directed to the best pistes and the best snow depending on what time of day you will be at any particluar part of the mountain.
So to sum up - if you are travelling to the three valleys you should look no further than Powder'n'Shine. This is a great little location next to a nice little local bar/restaurant. Quiet if thats what you want, but still in easy enough reach of Val Thorens if you want to head out for a party. All this is topped off by the best food and service you will ever experience on a ski holiday. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Now go and get booked up!"
