La Petite Silene
La Petite Silene has a fantastic location for a ski chalet in the Three Valleys, as it is right in the centre of Meribel. It’s a 3 minute walk from the chalet to the escalator by the tourist office that takes you up onto the slopes. Then it’s an easy ski along to La Chaudanne, the main lift area. From here you can access the huge ski area of the 3 Valleys. La Chaudanne is also the meeting point for the various ski schools.
At the end of the day, it's an easy ski down the blue home run, to the top of the escalator, and then a wander back to the chalet - the only problem is do you stop off at Le Tav for a quick beer on their terrace, or head straight back to the chalet for a relaxing cup of tea and home-made cakes...or perhaps both!
On your door-step you have the numerous shops, bars and restaurants that make Meribel such a vibrant resort.
The chalet is also fitted with a sauna, boot warmers and ski storage, so you'll have pleanty of room to comfortably get ready each morning.

Each day your chalet hosts will prepare a hearty breakfast to set you up for a hard days skiing! You will recieve a continental spread (croissants, pain au chocolat, cereals, yoghurts, fruit etc) as well as cooked option such as American pancakes or poached eggs with avocado and bacon.
You will return from the slopes to a selection of home-made cakes, cookies and traybakes to curb your appetite until your evening meal. There is also a drinks fridge in the living area where you can help yourself to a soft drink or a beer.
Each evening (apart from hosts' night off), your chalet hosts will present you with 2 bottles of champagne with canapes which you can enjoy beside the roaring fire; followed by a 3 course meal and then a cheese board. We will provide you with an unlimited supply of wine from our supplier, Paul Boyer.
We do not operate on fixed menu plans - all our hosts are skilled cooks and design their own menus. We will call you before you arrive with us to check if you or your group have any allergies or particular dislikes. Our chalet hosts will then tweak their menu to suit you.
We are happy to serve kids' meals at an earlier time if this suits you. Again, we will ask you for their likes and dislikes as we realise how important it is that they are happy!
Our chalet hosts have one day off per week, ususally Wednesday, where we will happily recommend and book a table in a restaurant for your group.
We’ll sort out your ski passes, and ski hire so there’s nothing for you to do when you arrive, apart from sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere.
