"Perfect For Us

Left on Jan 3, 2018 for a stay in Dec 2017
The apartment is perfectly located within easy reach of town (20 min walk) and the ski bus stops (2 mins walk) and was very good for us with a mixed age group wanting to be close to town but not too close. The apartment is very well stocked with everything you need. As eating out in Morzine continues to be expensive and over priced, we took the opportunity to be able to walk to the supermarket and take it in turns to do a "Come Dine with Me" dinner most nights. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining area allowed the meals to be presented and enjoyed in comfort. Breakfast was enjoyed by all whilst looking out towards the slopes watching the cable cars begin their days work. After a day on the slopes and while waiting for dinner it was a delight to be able to sit in the hot tub and swap stories of the days ski-ing. The apartment was perfect for us.

"“A very comfortable apartment, convenient location with an excellent view.”
5 of 5 starsReviewed July 25, 2015
Firstly the location of the apartment was good, with very little traffic even at peak times. We often preferred to leave our hire car parked on the apartment's shared driveway and enjoyed a leisurely15 min walk into town. The view of the Pleney and the Morzine valley from the apartment was marvellous, to watch the lifts/tele-cabins moving in the distance, was superb. The well appointed kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for all our own food. The lounge/dining area was more than generous and a comfortable place to relax with some nice touches here and there for added comfort. The Hot Tub and patio area is fairly private and generous enough to allow several people to soak up some rays on the two outdoor chairs and lying outstretched. It is perfect for sunbathing, as it's a real sun trap. The bedrooms again very comfortable, nicely decorated with plenty of all important cupboard/wardrobe space. The main hallway bathroom and the en-suite bathroom both had superb double showers with generous sized shower cubicles. Full marks for those! The bathrooms were very nicely decorated and were very clean, and fresh. And finally, overall we had a wonderful stay with plenty of activities with reduced rate for the chair lifts/telecabins and free access to the Olympic sized swimming pool, ice-skating through the via Multi-Pass voucher. Thank you to Karen for a marvellous weeks summer holiday and we all wished we could have stayed much longer.

"“Great location for summer activities”
4 of 5 starsReviewed July 27, 2015
We really enjoyed our stay at apartment Eloise and would definitely consider it for a ski trip in the future but the summer season offers all sorts of activities which are plentiful. We went white water rafting, walking, swimming, zip wires and plenty more on offer. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable on the whole. The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is due to the lack of external dining facility, because on a summer holiday it is nicer to eat outdoors. The inside dining area is close to the very large patio door though and the windows all open wide. Also all the accommodation in the area is set up naturally for the ski season so we did suffer with the heat as there is obviously no aircon but this was not a fault in any way, just unseasonally hot conditions. We made use of the jacuzzi in the garden and we also took advantage of the caterers Chez Toi who provided us with a superb evening meal and BBQ pack. They cater the chalet throughout the winter and I would certainly recommend them. So on the whole, a very good stay.

"“Simply Brilliant - home from home!”
5 of 5 starsReviewed September 1, 2015
Just spent a week here with my wife and 2 children (10) and (14) and we all loved it! The accommodation was exceptionally clean and very comfortable - it was just like a home from home! The accommodation had everything we needed for a great holiday experience - en-suite to master bedroom with underfloor heating :-), smart TV with Netflix and Youtube to keep the kids entertained, hot tub to relax in at the end of the day, fully functioning kitchen with fantastic views out across the mountains and big windows to make the most of them, gas BBQ, washer/dryer, Secure bike storage, etc, etc..... The location was also perfect for us - a pleasant 10-15 minute walk down into Morzine. However, best of all was Karen (the owner)! We arrived into Morzine and experienced an accommodation disaster!! The place we should have been staying at was terrible, so we had to find alternative accommodation - we were lucky enough to fine Apartment Eloise on-line and sent a message to Karen. Karen immediately called us back and was SO helpful, arranging for the apartment to be cleaned at zero notice, and making sure we were settled in before even paying! They say every cloud has a silver lining, and whilst our holiday in Morzine started badly, it ended up being a dream holiday. We will definitely stay in apartment Eloise the next time we visit Morzine and would highly recommend it.

"“Can't wait to go back and see it in the snow!”

Trip Advisor 5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2014 NEW

We had a wonderful week at Chalet Eloise in August. Obviously the scenery is selling point enough and there was plenty to do in Morzine and the surrounding area. But it was the fact that we had this fabulous chalet to return to in the evenings which made the holiday. We all agreed that we had had the best sleep there and the pillows I have to say are amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed and it was very useful having the washing facilities. The hot tub was of course an even bigger bonus.
It was lovely going in the summer, and I hope one day soon we can go back in the winter as it must be really beautiful."

"The apartment was excellent - well equipped, quality decor and great location."

Apartment Eloise is high quality accommodation. The furniture and decor are first class with a great television entertainment system for times when we wanted to relax without going out. With 4 adults there was plenty room to spare and another 2 adults could have been accommodated easily. The owner was easy to contact when we had a question and could not have been more helpful. This was a summer biking holiday...we are now trying to plan when we can return to Eloise for a ski holiday. Excellent!"

The property has everything you need to make your life very easy and comfortable. The highlight of the property was the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable so slept very well indeed. It was an easy walk into town as it was all down hill, coming back with shopping bags was a little harder but the views were spectacular so it was fine for us. The most memorable thing about the apartment were the views from the kitchen and dining room, they were breathtaking. Many thanks. Jo, Matt, Oliver and Harry

Apartment very comfortable, great hot tub and BBQ a great touch. Kitchen very well equipped. Morzine is an ideal place for a family holiday with teenagers and the multi pass made it fantastic value. Mountain biking was exciting, we loved the cable cars and chair lifts and the luge was fun.

A wonderful place to stay

"We decided to take an Easter skiing trip for the first time with our children aged 5 and 9 and Apartment Eloise came highly recommended. We travelled to Geneva airport from Manchester - a relatively short hop - and booked the hour-long mini-bus transfer, which had been suggested by the owners of Apartment Eloise, making the whole trip hassle-free.

This is a newly-renovated chalet, which has been refurbished to a high standard but is also warm and welcoming. The view out of the living room window, framing the mountains and scenary is fabulous! The apartment is spacious and airy and, although there were 7 of us staying, we never felt like there wasn't enough room. The hot tub is the perfect place to sit and relax after a hard day's skiing & just soak up the views. The ski cave made it easy to store our kit. There were lots of little additions to make us feel at home, including wifi, fluffy bathrobes, an ipod dock & incredibly comfortable beds & pillows!!

The bus-stops for the free bus service are one minute's walk away - just far enough when you have ski equipment to carry - and will take you to the lift to the slopes of Avoriaz or into Morzine town centre in a matter of minutes. With 2 young children in tow we were keen for getting about without a car to be as easy as possible and Apartment Eloise ticks all of the boxes.

Although the snow in Morzine had melted, there was plenty of it in Avoriaz and we had a great time negotiating the vast range of slopes. There is plenty of scope for all abilities and instructors in ski school were excellent.

Lovely chalet. Highly recommended - give it a try!"
