Apartment 12 is situated in La Bergerie a delightful apartment block in Plagne Montalbert part of the Paradiski Domain. La Bergerie is perfectly located in the heart of this charming family friendly village just yards from the Montalbert Gondola, shops and restaurants. The apartment, styled with a homely and traditional alpine feel, is welcoming, warm and cosy - guests love it. The stunning views from the spacious living/dining area and fabulous balcony views make this a real hidden gem!

Situated adjacent to a large public car park with free parking, the apartment block is very easy to find and access when you arrive. You will be met by Julie or Rich, who will be waiting to meet you, check you in and hand over keys by Le White Bear Bar.
The La Bergerie entrance lobby is on the main street opposite the new Inter Sport shop. Through the lobby there is a lift or stairs to the apartment which is on the first floor of this small, friendly apartment block.
As you enter the apartment there is a small entrance hall including a storage cupboard with handing space and plenty of hooks. The apartment opens up to a spacious kitchen, living and dining area and you will be wowed by the stunning views looking over the Tarentaise Valley.
The fully fitted kitchen has a full sized oven, 4 ring electric hob, fridge (with small freezer compartment), micorowave, dishwasher, kettle & filter coffee machine and ample crockery and cutlery for all your catering needs.
The spacious open plan living room has a traditional alpine sofa and large dining table. There is a 26 inch TV with UK and French satellite channels and a DVD player. Free wifi - what's the wifi code is always the first question younger guests ask!

Bedroom 1 - a spacious double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a balcony offers more stunning views.
Bedroom 2 - features a bunk bed and a single bed with ample under bed storage.
The bathroom has a bath with a (very powerful) overhead shower, sink and vanity unit and there is a separate toilet.
The ski locker is in the main Ski Room on the lower ground floor, skiers and boarders gain access to the main road through a side door and up a set of stairs.

Our website is full of restaurant recommendations and if you don't want to cook every day we also highly recommend HUSKI.com who deliver delicious food across the alps. We have used them many times, their menu choices are great.
Or why not treat yourself? Alpine Roots (alpineroots-food.com), a company run by friends Josh and Sian will deliver authentic sharing meals, Raclette or Fondue to your door. They are presented in delightful wooden hampers handmade by Josh, with locally sourced produce, cheese, potatoes, charcuterie, baguette, pickles and salad, beautifully packaged in kilner jar and recycled materials. They also do a superb Champagne Fondue for a special occasion, ideal if you have young children and are not able to go out but want to celebrate!

With a superb beginners area at the top of the Gondola on the Fornelet Plateau, Montalbert is a wonderful place for your first beginners lesson. There is also a fabulous restaurant on the Plateau, Le 360, ideally placed for parents or grandparents to visit and warm up after watching the kids on their skis. When the weather is great, sit out on their large deck and watch the world go by!
The Fornelet Plateau offers walking opportunities for guests who do not want to ski.
