"“Great chalet and situated in a lovely area convenient for all activities”
4 of 5 stars We found the chalet ideal as we had my eldest (1 and his girlfriend (17) staying in the downstairs which meant they had their own area and bathroom etc. Chalet is situated a 2 min walk into Samoens main part and handy for all bars and shops. The Casino supermarket was very handy when needing small bits and Carrefour only a 5 min drive for bigger shop - just watch opening times as we got up late a few times and had to wait until afternoon for it to open. The wifi was great for all kids (12, 14, 17,1 and kept them happy along with some basic English TV channels ...never knew Travel channel was so interesting !! Nice outside area where we had a couple of BBQ's and great outside table and chairs. All very clean and good to arrive to clean beds all made. Very cosy lounge and open plan kitchen layout...love the rugs and cushions :-)
Recommend the rafting with Ecolorado ...we had David and he was a great host and really made the trip an adventure We have rafting before and this was by far the best time we have had. - I still know how I jumped of that high pipe -- GREAT FUN !!
The local outside pools were a favourite and we spent 2 days there and we all loved it. Great to have the pool where I can swim some lanes and work off the cheese and wine ! and what views while swimming … spectacular.
Overall a great holiday and loved the mountains although we never managed to get up there...still a great reason to return as there is so much to do.”

"“Just a quick email to let you know that our clients were delighted by the accommodation offered by your chalet and commented how beautiful both the building and Samoens were and how much they were impressed by the skiing offered in The Grand Massif.”

"“It was an excellent stay here in this wonderful chalet. It felt ever so homely, there was so much to do. Plenty of games and plenty of books. We wish to stay here again it was lovely. The mountain view was delightful to wake up to, to see the lovely snowy trees every single morning. Samoens is a wonderful town with amazing chalets, but this one is by far the best we have been too. We all can’t wait to come to this joyful friendly town ‘Samoens’ again.”

"“Positively Perfect Chalet for a Family holiday” “This beautiful chalet is full of character and so comfortable we didn't want to come home. All the original exposed beams give it charm and atmosphere. It heats up quickly and stays warm. Excellent inventory of equipment, games and dvd's and perfect for our extended family holiday with a Mum Dad two small children and two grandmothers. Everyone had their own space. Enjoyed it so much really want to go back there. Situated in a charming village with short walk to the ski bus which takes 10 minutes to the Grand Massif Express. Lovely shops and interesting history, and stunning scenery. “

"“Very cozy chalet in Samoens” “We were very happy staying at "La Fromagerie",the chalet is very nicely decorated and provides everything you need. The wood burner is a lovely feature. The bedrooms are also very pleasant. It was really good to be so near the historic village and just a few minutes car ride to the nearest ski lift. We would recommend La Fromagerie as an excellent mountain getaway.”

"“A lovely, tradional style chalet.” “ We had a great time, Bethan and Lucas were there when we arrived and were very welcoming and pleasant. The cake was delicious and bottle of wine very welcome....one of many we consumed during the week. It was a nice little touch on arrival. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and we thought it had very nice decor - traditional and pretty but not in a too fussy way. The large number of board games and playing cards were good, we cooked two nights and had great craic playing various games. There was plenty of information contained in the file on the coffee table about accessing everything in the village for someone who had never been there before. Bethan had given us her details if we needed to know anything but as some of us had been to Samoens before we were fine. We would consider renting the Fromagerie again and would recommend it.”
