Appartement tres bien équipé spacieux calme et idéalement situé. Beaucoup de possibilités de randonnées alentours et à quelques minutes du départ du télésiège.
Very well equipped apartment, spacious, quiet and ideally located. Lots of hiking possibilities nearby and a few minutes from the chairlift departure. Guest in Mar '24

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Chez Michelle. We just wanted to say that this was an absolutely 5 star stay for our skiing holiday. Communication and check in was excellent and easy to follow, and warm and cosy on arrival. Very tastefully furnished and roomy for 5 adults in our party, we found it very well equipped and everything had been thought of to prepare and cook meals in the chalet. We chose to drive to the gondola each day which was only a short drive away. We'll be highly recommending to friends and family and if we are in the region again we'd love to return. Thanks again. After a three year delay, we finally made it to Chez Michelle and it certainly was not a disappointment. Very comfortable and spacious for a family of four, with lots of equipment, comfy beds and a roasting fire. Guest in Dec '22

La location est très bien équipée avec une literie au top. Départ des navettes pour les pistes au pied de la location. Nous avons passés un super séjour. A refaire sans hésitation.
The rental is very well equipped with top quality bedding. Departure of the shuttles for the slopes at the foot of the rental. We had a great stay. To do again without hesitation. Guest in Mar '22

The apartment is very good, ideally located and with easy parking. There is everything you need for the whole family and for a perfect ski holiday. The fireplace adds a touch of conviviality to the evenings

We enjoyed for the second time a fantastic stay at Chez Michelle, a beautiful and convenient flat, with all necessary amenities. The accommodation was well prepared and spotless at our arrival, the owners are very kind and really service oriented, their service provider always available on request. Ideally positioned (not inside the crowdy Samoens but not far), in the beautiful Vallon hamlet you will enjoy starting your hiking or biking from there. We will come back! Guest in Aug '21.

Really very nice and very clean apartment with everything you could need. There were 6 of us and we really had space. The owners are very friendly and so are the people on site. The only small complaint we could make is that the chalet is a bit out of the way. We knew it but we thought it was a little closer to the centre. But overall we are very satisfied. Guest in Feb '20.

Our family had a wonderful holiday in Samoëns. The accommodation was great and had plenty of space for parents, grandparents and kids. Samoëns is a lovely resort with loads to see and do. Situated in the oldest adjoining neighbourhood of Samoens, the apartment was close enough to walk into the town yet quietly situated away from the hustle and bustle. Fantastic views from the lounge across the meadowland. Guest in Nov '19

Recently spent another great week at Chez Michelle - this was our 7th or 8th summer holiday here. The apartment is really comfortable, has great views from both balconies and everything you need for a relaxing time. Samoens is a really pretty village with several great restaurants, lovely walks and lots of places to visit within easy reach. Would definitely recommend a holiday here! Guest in Jul '19

We had a really enjoyable stay at Chez Michelle and would be happy to recommend it. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped for 4 adults, especially having the mezzanine level and the two balconies, as this meant that we had separate living space at different times, if wanted.
The apartment was ideal for us for getting into the village as it was only a 10-minute walk for going out for a meal or drink. It is also handy for the Grand Massif Express gondola to get to the ski slopes. It would be good to try a summer walking holiday in Samoens as it's a beautiful village and we would be happy to book the apartment if we were to return. Guest in Mar '18

Great location in a quiet part of Samoëns, great facilities and a brilliant log fire!
The chalet was located in a quiet part of the town but close enough to all the amenities. It was lovely to have a log fire at the end of a day and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks, we will return. Guest in Feb '19

From the moment we arrived, Chez Michelle felt like a home from home. It was clean, cosy and comfortable and the wood burner made the apartment warm and inviting after a day on the slopes. The thoughtful little touches were the icing on the cake, like the adapters for UK plugs, rubbish sacks, loo rolls and cleaning materials for the kitchen, not to mention the excellent collection of DVDs! The master bedroom upstairs was generous with a large, very comfortable bed and the fact that there were two bathrooms just made life easier! Hot water was plentiful and having the dishwasher was just another little bonus!
Samoens village was very pretty with some lovely restaurants, especially Le 8m Des Monts if French fine dining is your thing. (It was definitely ours!) The village and the Grand Massif Express were only a 5 minute drive away or a brisk 20 minute walk and, as we took your advise and hired a ski locker at the top of the GME, we did not have to carry our skis anywhere.
All in all a lovely holiday and we would definitely recommend to friends and would like to return in the not too distant future. Guest in Dec '18

We're now home after a lovely stay at Chez Michelle. It's a really well equipped and comfortable place and made for a great family break - thanks very much.
We loved the view from the balcony and the walk into town. The walking guide in the apartment was very useful too and we completed four of the themed walks - even if it was a bit hot at times for serious walking!
What also made a real difference is that the master bedroom had quite the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on in any holiday accommodation ever - and we are very fussy about such things! All in all a very good standard of accommodation and the location was just fantastic for families.
We shall recommend to others and will certainly consider booking again on any return trip - it was our first time in the region but I imagine not the last, as it was such a successful holiday. Thanks again and we do hope to return at some point! Guest in Aug '18

Lovely apartment in beautiful surroundings. The apartment was very comfortable with fantastic views from all aspects. Sitting in front of the roaring log fire after a day of sightseeing was magic. There were two of us but the apartment could house 6 people comfortably, two bathrooms being a huge bonus. Samoens is a lovely village with an atmosphere of tranquility and calm. I'm not a skier but the walking and hiking routes are easily accessible, providing breathtaking views of the valley and the Alps. Simply magic. (Guest in Nov '17)

We had an excellent week at Chez Michelle and can fully recommend the apartment. Everything we could possible need was on hand - we enjoy some elaborate self catering and there was even a slow cooker and raclette set. In cold conditions outside, the wood burner kept us nice and warm with plenty of fuel available on the balcony. It took us 12 minutes to walk into the village square over very quiet back roads and paths without having to walk on the main road - just ideal to build up a thirst for a Vin Chaud! (Guest in Feb '1

Terrific! Samoens is really one of the best places to spend summer holidays! We did a lot of hikes with amazing landscapes, downhill VTT was also great fun for our son.
We were delighted with Chez Michelle. What a wonderful apartment! Everything was perfect: great bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, games, DVDs...not to mention the view from the balconies. After a tough hike, what a pleasure to have a rest on them! Sure, we'll come again, in summer or winter! (Guest in Aug '17)

My husband and I regularly take a winter trip to the French Alps to embark on a skiing adventure (it was one of the conditions of our marriage!). He is an advanced skier and I am OK at the best of times. The Grand Massif area - which can be accessed by a gondola a short walk or 5 minute drive away from Chez Michelle - is perfect for a wide variety of ski abilities and it kept us busy for the full 6 days.
At 4pm there was nothing more that I looked forward to than arriving back at Chez Michelle – the apartment is warm and inviting, both cosy and comfortable but with more than enough room for a family. It has everything you need. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with equipment which resulted in us not having to get dressed up and brave the cold on most evenings. If you did want to venture out, there are plenty of lovely restaurants in the beautiful old town of Samoens. We really liked the atmosphere here, the buildings are gorgeous and it doesn’t feel half as touristy as some of the ski resorts we have stayed in. We loved everything about this trip, and would love to visit in the summer and spring to experience all it has to offer. (Guest in Jan '17)

Thanks so much for the use of Chez Michelle; we all had a great time! I think Samoens fared better than other resorts so although conditions weren’t ideal, we skied every day. The instructors managed to take the kids somewhere new each day so everyone was happy! Thanks again for everything and I shall be recommending Chez Michelle. PS the beds were really comfortable too! We return to Chez Michelle in Samoens year after year to ski. It's the most beautiful place to stay - a real haven of peace and tranquillity that allows for a complete rest and relaxation. This year we decided to visit in the summer for the first time and were simply blown away! The mountains and Samoens in general were beautiful, great weather and so much to do. We even brought our 4 month old granddaughter Mollie. It was a perfect holiday for us all and perfectly baby friendly! Samoens and Chez Michelle are fondly known as our “sanctuary” and is to be highly recommended for a stay all year round! (Guest in Jul '15)

Chez Michelle, after our third visit, feels like home to us. We were there yet again for the hiking and rock-climbing, for which it is ideally placed. This time we finally made it up Mt Buet! On arrival we walked into a wonderfully spacious apartment. We were so pleased to find the accommodation even better than the photos show. Everywhere was clean and fresh with the beds made up for us. The apartment was so well stocked with cooking equipment it made making a meal a pleasure…The view from the apartment was wonderful…we would love to see it in the spring/summer. (Guest in Feb '16)
