Chalet La Fontaine was the perfect place for our weekend escape. The views from the chalet are stunning and the location is ideal with just a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a more ideal spot. The chalet has all the amenities you need and more…and the hot tub made the whole experience so special. Very much looking forward to my next stay!

An absolutely stunning alpine chalet in Châtel. This is my second visit, and it is incredible to see the newly renovated chalet. It has been meticulously designed with skiers, hikers, and families in mind - clearly, no expense has been spared. The location is excellent, with stunning views and proximity to the village center and ski lifts. There is ample space for large groups with a gorgeous open-plan living area for cozy evenings. I can't recommend this place highly enough! I'm already working on dates for my third visit to this little slice of alpine heaven.

The best weekend get away with a group of 8 (sleeps 10 very comfortably). The chalet is top spec, modern, clean and inviting. Gorgeous views, close walk to local shops and bars, and a hot outside hot tub perfect for relaxing in. I would highly recommend, Claire and Darren are amazing hosts. I WILL 100% be coming back!

Just back from a long weekend at this perfect location, think Holiday the movie in the French Alps! The chalet has been finished to the highest standard with lots of attention to detail including super comfy beds and a fully kitted out kitchen. Great location within walking distance of some great shops and restaurants so even out of season makes this the perfect getaway.

Had a week in January at this beautifully authentic alpine catered chalet in Chatel with family and friends. Only an easy 10 minute walk down to the centre of the village with a good choice of bars and restaurants. The bus stop is right outside the chalet and it’s only a couple of minutes ride to the ski lifts. The chalet has an outdoor hot tub accessed from the balcony with great views of the mountains. There is also well equipped boot room on the ground floor. Couldn’t have asked for any more of the location or the accommodation and the chalet hosts were brilliant. This chalet is a little gem.
