A Wonderful Week!
We have just returned from the most wonderful week with Dean, Groni and their lovely family. Our trip was smooth from start to finish, Dean met us at our Air BnB in Milan on the Saturday morning very early (we had chosen to fly out on the Friday night) and with their careful planning we had hired equipment and were on the slopes by 11am!
We were a group of 9 with 5 kids ranging from 7-13 and found the chalet just perfect for us. Groni’s delicious and thoughtful menus meant even the fussiest of our children always had something tasty to eat! The food was fantastic throughout and I think we have all come home substantially heavier then we went out!
The accommodation was beautiful, the mill looks like something from a fairytale and Dean and Groni’s carefull attention to detail have ensured all the original features have been maintained and showcased in the most imaginative ways.
Transitions to the slopes every morning and evening were smooth and with so many kids in tow invaluable!
We would highly recommend a stay with Dean and Groni and hope to return at some point in the future! It was like a home from home

5 star stay at Ponte Dells Valle
We had the most wonderful stay at Dean and Grainne’s catered ski chalet. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after.
Grainne was incredibly thoughtful with every meal, tailoring dishes to suit even the pickiest teenagers in our group — no small feat, and she did it with such care and creativity.
The chalet itself, set in a beautifully restored old mill, was full of charm and character. It felt cosy, welcoming, and truly special. Dean made everything effortless for us, collecting us from the airport and driving us to and from the slopes each day at whatever time suited our plans. That level of flexibility made the whole trip feel relaxed and easy.
Every afternoon we returned to the smell of freshly baked cake, a lovely spread for tea, and what the kids declared the best hot chocolate they’ve ever had. It became one of the highlights of each day.
And of course, Phoebe — their gorgeous dog — was adored by the children and added an extra layer of homely warmth to the stay.
We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. The kindness, the service, the food, the atmosphere — everything was exceptional. Highly, highly recommend!

What a holiday!
I had the most incredible time at Ponte Della Valle. The hosts are very attentive and welcoming, and helped us with absolutely everything from renting our ski gear to sharing their knowledge of the local area. I have never felt more comfortable and at home in a new location. The property itself is filled with the history of the building, which creates a warm and inviting environment. The hot tub was such a treat after spending all day in the snow, and it was truly spectacular being able to view the mountains while enjoying a luxurious moment of relaxation. The hosts were very flexible with picking us up and dropping us off at the ski slopes- which really allowed us to get the most of our trip. The slopes themselves are suitable for all levels, and the local mountain is truly picturesque, with an impressive bar situated at the bottom. One major highlight of our trip was the absolutely impeccable food, we were offered a large selection of breakfast choices, and a three course dinner followed by tea and coffee. We were completely blown away by the flavourful cuisine that brought each wonderful day to an end. If this isn’t enough, there’s also a local restaurant that serves authentic Italian food just a short drive away. I truly felt as though all of our needs were met, and then surpassed. I will definitely be returning soon.

Exceptional Hospitality in a charming old Mill
We had a fantastic week at Dean and Grainne’s catered ski chalet. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after. That level of flexibility made the whole trip feel relaxed and easy. We were also really fortunate to have a week of blue skies and sunshine after heavy snow the week before, snow conditions were excellent.
