- The difference is that you can decide which other services are included. Food, wine, travel and extra services are paid for at cost which allows you to choose exactly what you want. If you’d like Champagne & Canapés followed by 4 courses of fine cuisine it’s no problem. Alternatively you may just prefer simple suppers, or perhaps a combination of the two. You may wish to return to the chalet for lunch, host a drinks party or children’s birthday party. It is your choice.

- Chalet Tomkins was completely rebuilt in 2002 and finished to an extremely high standard with a further refurb in 2017.
- The chalet is unusually spacious and is built on 4 levels. Each bedroom has been individually decorated and the chalet is comfortable and stylish
- Situated on Route des Chalets, the Mayfair of Meribel, the chalet is a stone's throw from the piste
- 6 ensuite bedrooms - all with twin zip/superkingsize beds. One of the spacious bedrooms also has 2 extra day beds so can sleep up to 4
- A vaulted sitting room with large open fireplace and adjoining dining room with table that can seat 16 and has views over Saulire – particularly spectacular when lit up at night.
- A spacious boot/ski room with boot and glove warmer, a double garage.

The main piste into town (Doron) is a couple of minute's walk from the chalet and the piste is accessed just above the fast six-man Adret chairlift linking you into the system without having to go to Chaudanne. During most of the season it is possible to ski directly back to the chalet. Chalet Tomkins is a ‘fun’ chalet to stay in, great for 2 or 3 families, as well as being the perfect place to unwind in tranquility and comfort after a hard day's skiing in the heart of 'Les Trois Valleés'.
The chalet is fully staffed (chef, manager, house keeper and chauffeur who all live-out) with a choice of catering options - 'a la carte' by far the most popular and our USP (your choice of food paid at COST at the end of your stay) or 'tout compris' all inclusive including food and drink.

Dates: 15 Feb 26 - 22 Feb 26 Beautiful Barn Conversion close to Courchevel Le Praz available now until the end of the winter Maison du Ciel, nestled in the hamlet of La Nouvaz, less than 2km from the ski station of Le Praz in Courchevel is best described as a hidden gem. The barn conversion with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (sleeping up to 7 adults or 8 with children) has been lovingly restored keeping a sense of nostalgia and modern touches add glamour and comfort. The open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area is dominated by an enormous glass wall offering breath taking views across and down the valley - every hour of every day offers a changing landscape.The spacious master suite is situated on the lower entrance level, with ensuite bathroom featuring large tub bath and separate shower (accessed by steps) and has wonderful views from the sumptuous Super Kingsize bed.
Three further bedrooms; one double with 160cm bed, one dual aspect with double/twin zip 160cm bed and a small bunk room are situated on the first floor along with a bathroom with bath and shower and a bathoom with walk in shower.
There is also a mezzanine office space off the main living area, an entrance hall and a laundry room on the lower ground floor with butler sink, washer and dryer - all bedding, linen, towels and slippers are provided. For connecting and entertainment Wifi, Sonos, Sky free view, Apple TV and a selection of games and books are also included.
La Nouvaz is a highly desired hamlet close to the main ski lifts of Le Praz Courchevel, part of the extensive Three Valleys ski domaine. The village is blissfully car-free but you can drive into the village to drop off luggage and shopping etc then park in the free car park around 50 metres away. From the drop off point, the house is accessed by foot and includes steps up beside an ancient chapel and a delightful archway and tunnel - it's a fairytale location. The village is unspoilt and a haven of peace right on the edge of the forest. The ski resort of La Tania is directly above La Nouvaz and the intrepid can ski back to the door when snow permits.
There is a free bus (although infrequent) from La Nouvaz to Le Praz and back but we would highly recommend that guests bring a car (equipped for snow) for more flexibility and independence. We will also include an space in the underground car park Alpinium in Le Praz is where the ski lifts run from and a heated ski locker to save carrying ski gear to and from the house daily.
Le Praz offers a high speed télécabine to Courchevel 1850 and a fast chairlift to above La Tania (and easy links to Meribel) and is part of the immense Three Valleys ski area. It is a charming, lively village with lovely restaurants including one with a Michelin star, bars, boutiques and delis - it has a very French vibe unlike some of the other levels of Courchevel. - Cuisine is of the highest standard, but with flexibility, which puts you in control - you pay for food at actual cost, so you decide. If you would like sautéed fois gras followed by filet de bœuf béarnaise with a raspberry pannacotta and wild berry coulis for dessert, then why not? On the other hand, one evening you may prefer a light supper after lunching at the 2 Michelin-starred Chabichou for example.
- Our chefs can create a superb menu tailored to your own pre-designated individual tastes and requirements and you just pay the actual cost of your grocery bills at the end of your holiday.
