Chalet Matisse

Chalet Matisse Haut and Bas are just a very short walk to the piste and the Tania gondola which links directly to the extensive Trois Vallees (Three Valleys) lift sytem giving easy access to Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens.

La Tania is a real crowd-pleaser for mixed level groups and families, because of its easy access to the Three Valleys area, great value accommodation and friendly après-ski vibe.

The beauty of a week’s stay in Chalet Matisse is that it’s just so easy! Catered service, easy to get on and off the slopes & ski school meeting point, in-chalet ski hire, lift passes awaiting your arrival… All that, plus great views, a log fire and warm welcome from your host.

These two adjoined chalets sleep 8 people in  four rooms, making a total of 16 beds. Each room has its own bathroom with either bath or shower. Chalet Matisse Haut has the benefit of a separate games room with table football.

There are two chalet hosts for Chalet Matisse, with a host in each of the adjoined properties. Often our guests have breakfast in their own chalet, then in the evenings we can feed the children in one chalet and the adults in the other - please discuss with our office and we will work out an arrangement to suit your group.

The living areas have a welcoming log burning stove in the living and dining area and are equipped with TV, bluetooth speakers, WiFi, and a selection of board games. Hairdryers, bed linen and towels are provided and free parking is available. 

Accommodation consists of

• Ski and boot room with heated boot warmers for Chalet Matisse guests
• Games room equipped with flat screen TV and wii console and games
• Each of the two chalets has a kitchen, living and dining area with log burning stove and patio doors leading to terrace
• Each chalet has 1 x double/twin room with en-suite wash basin and shower with separate toilet outside the door for this room's use only. This room is on the same level as the lounge/dining room but off the hall.
• Upstairs 3 x further twin bedrooms each with an en-suite bath with shower attachment, wash basin and toilet

Some rooms may be big enough to add a cot or put up bed.

This is a catered chalet which includes the following:

• A wholesome breakfast including teas, coffee, fruit juice, cereals, yoghurts, French bread, butter and jam is available to help yourself to every day.
• A hot option is served by your host on four mornings. 
• Afternoon tea is available to help yourselves to every day.
• Evening meals are provided on six evenings: five with dinner-party style dinners and one evening when you will be provided with all you need for a traditional 'raclette'.
• Red, white and rose wine is available during mealtimes.
• Most dietary requirements can be catered for, please advise at time of booking.
• Early meals are served for children up to age 12.
• An honesty bar is available in the chalet for beers, mixers and snacks.
• A fresh bowl of fruit is always available
