Chalet Ty Tom

Chalet Ty Tom is a luxury chalet located in the stone pine forests of the Nockberge mountains. With ten beds across four bedrooms, and three bathrooms, it can accommodate two families easily and potentially three. The jacuzzi, sauna, two large south facing balconies and central fire make the chalet extra special. Turracher Hohe is snow sure for six months of the year and at almost 1800m altitude ths skiing is guaranteed. Over 40km of slopes are pisted from 2400m high served by a modern lift system. The village is small and unspoilt, but accommodates hotels, restaurants, bars and mountain huts all gathered around an ice covered lake. Skiing, cross country skiing, toboganning, ice skating and snow shoe hikes are all possible. In the summer the location of the village just north of the Italian border ensures mainly dry, hot, sunny conditions. Consequently this is a great place to walk, hike, cycle, mountain bike, run or just relax. It is on the border of the Nockberge National Park, and golden eagles and red deer, among many other wildlife species, are a common sight here. The resort is quiet, but is very well organised in catering for all types of sports and interests. There is a wide range of places to eat, from luxury hotels to pizzarias and the Nockiflitzer toboggan run and the Crystal Museum are open all year round.

Chalet Ty Tom has an entrance porch and external store for skis, toboggans and sledges and two car spaces.

Lower Floor: Entrance and boot room with storage and ski boot warmer and washing machine. Bedroom One is a twin room with mountain views and next to the main bathroom. Bedroom Two accommodates four in a double bed and bunk beds. It has access to the lower south facing balcony with great views. Bedroom Three is a douible bedroom with en suite bathroom and access to the lower south facing balcony. The main bathroom contains the jacuzzi and sauna, along with the WC, shower and washbasin.

Upper Floor: Bedroom Four also has an ensuite bathroom containing shower, WC, washbasin and bidet and views of the forest. The kitchen is well equipped with sink, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and ample storage. It also has a kettle, coffee maker, toaster and slow cooker. The living area has a ten seater dining table, casual settees and chairs, a gas flame fire, wide screen satellite TV with blu ray DVD and surround speakers, floor lights, cushions, throws and antique skis. It also opens out onto the upper south facing balcony with views of the slopes and the surrounding mountains and forests.
