Stubai Valley - Ski, Snowboard & Summer Holidays

The extensive Tyrolean glacier playground at the end of the valley is skiable pretty much year round and is one of the biggest summer ski areas in Europe. served by two gondolas which are the main gateways to a further 20 or so lifts serving almost 70 miles of pistes. Although it's a glacier, it can still top off natural snowfall with snowmaking.

There are excellent child care facilities and ski rental on the glacier. It's a good idea to base yourself in Neustift, with its bus link to the glacier. There are five ski schools in the valley to chose from, and on the Stubai glacier the children's club " B" for Big helps make young beginners' first attempts extra fun at a special ski club where instructors, male and female, teach skiing the playful way. A big adventure playground, tables for painting and handwork and a great selection of games provide a welcome addition to skiing .

In summer time the whole area is a fabulous destination to enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery and the hundreds of activities associated with this sort of environment.
