"I have just got back from a trip skiing in Tignes and stayed at Hattiers with my sister. I can honestly say it was the best skiing accommodation I have stayed in for a number of reasons. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable- and was cleaned on a daily basis. The bathroom was spotless and the shower hot and powerful. The location is great and the atmosphere fun and friendly, with a range of people staying there. What really makes the place unique, however, are two things; the food and the staff. Chris (Pappy, as he is fondly called) cooks up a storm in the kitchen - large portions of a variety of creative, comforting dishes are served, and only the best and freshest produce is used. He will happily change dishes if necessary and will accommodate any dietary needs with no fuss or shouldn't eat anywhere else! Tracy, our host, couldn't do enough for us - she works her backside off but makes everything she does for you feel like a pleasure. Personal touches and attention to detail made it feel as though we were part of the Hattiers family and I can't wait to go back. I have not laughed so much in a long, long time. Really genuine people, great value for money and phenomenal food- a recipe for a great time- I can't recommend this chalet highly enough." 31 Dec 14

"I have stayed in Tignes Les Brev before and enjoyed it but can honestly say that this break surpassed all expectations, leaving me desperate to come back soon! The location is fabulous with easy access to the slopes and enough in the way of nightlife if you ever do want to leave the cosy, immaculate chalet. Tracy the host goes out of her way to welcome guests and makes everyone feel at home, whilst Chris ("Pappy") is an absolute asset to the chalet: his huge portions of tasty food and his flexibility around all tastes and diets are truly wonderful. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and full of laughter - you won't regret staying here." 31 Dec 14

"We had a brilliant time at the chalet and would not stay anywhere else if coming to Tignes again. Chris, Tracy, Toby, Alice and Edd made our stay absolutely fantastic, the food and service was of restaurant quality. Everyone went above and beyond what was required to ensure we had the best stay possible. Don't consider staying anywhere else if you are looking for friendly staff and amazing food." 31 Dec 14

"An Excellent week’s stay at chalet Hattiers! Wish we could have stayed longer. One of the reasons we booked at this chalet was because of Chris’ cooking. It is so varied, plentiful and so good! Tracy is a fabulous host and nothing was ever too much trouble for her! She really looked after us all, along with Toby who worked hard also, keeping everything running smoothly. There is a short walk down to the chair lifts that take you up to another village where a bus can take you into Tignes if the snow is scarce or usually you can ski the whole Tignes and Va disere area from Tignes Les Brev practically from your chalet. Had a great time off piste over the far side of val d' isere where there is a free car park if you've driven out. Big thank you to all the staff for making it a great holiday Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!" 31 Dec 14

Excellent value for money

"First time in Chalet Hattiers and certainly not our last. Excellent value for money, warm, clean , comfortable room with excellent views of the mountains. Short distance to the lifts in the mornings. Staff were extremly friendly and helpful with a good knowledge of the area which was great as this was our first visit. The food was excellent all week, both breakfast and evening dinner which was tasty, plentiful & varied - Just what's needed before and after a long day on the slopes !!!! Brilliant atmosphere within the chalet. Can't wait to return again next season " Tip2000 21 Oct 13

Friendly or What

"Hattiers is a delight
The place is as warm as you want it to be with a plentiful supply of hot water.
And friendly hosts, funny too!, with brilliant food, I havent found anywhere that is sooo cost effective. What more do you need.

Ive just been told all of the rooms have been refurbished so that makes it even better.
Cannot wait until January 2013 which will be our third visit, if it wasnt perfect we wouldnt go back!"

Great place to stay.

"Stayed at Hattiers in March 12 ...... It was a case of 5* service from the minute we arrived. We had a room at the front with views to the slopes, basic but cleaned daily, hot water always plentiful much needed after a day on the slopes! The staff were very helpful, friendly, experts in giving advice on best runs and how to get the best out of Espace Killy. 2 minutes from the lifts as well. The food matched the 5* service - home cooked, plentiful and a real surprise. Not something you would expect from budget accommodation. Reading that they are having a refurb for the coming season will only push it up a notch! Can't wait to return and would recommend 100%. " Lottie173 29 Jul 12
