Situated in a privileged position at the top of Val Thorens ski resort, the Balcons apartments offer good quality accommodation, close to the ski slopes (good skiers can ski in/out) and with access to swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, as well as an on site spa!

Quiet Location, close to ski slopes, shops and restaurants  

Situated in the highest ski village in Europe, Val Thorens offers fantastic skiing throughout the whole season, and is an excellent base to explore the whole Three Valleys Ski area.

The apartments are situated in a quiet area, yet within easy reach of all Val Thorens' amenities. The apartments are spaced out over 6 chalet style buildings, one of which houses the reception chalet with swimming pool complex and spa.

There is a well-stocked supermarket in the apartment complex and if you don't feel like cooking in the evening, half board or flexible meal options can be arranged in advance in one of the two on site restaurants. Please ask us for prices.

There are also a few other restaurants and bars nearby, offering takeaway services.

Access to the pistes - ski in and out very close to the apartments

In the morning, the slopes can be reached directly from 5 of the chalets – for the other chalet it is just a case of crossing over the road and taking the lift down in one of the other chalets.

For complete beginners there is a regular shuttle bus which stops by the reception which can take you down to the Rond Pont des pistes beginners area.

Good skiers can ski back to opposite the reception chalet (cross over the road) by taking the Plein Sud piste (blue for the majority of the slope, with the final part to cut back to the chalets classified as red). Less confident skiers can continue on the blue Plein Sud slope to the “ski bridge” and can walk back a short distance to the apartments (approx.. 200m). Or if you end your day at the Rond Point des pistes you can hop on the free shuttle which takes you back to the reception!

Swim and Relax...or work out!

Take advantage of the fantastic wellness area - over 600m2 - with swimming pool with exceptional views over the valley, a children's paddling pool, sauna, hamman and jacuzzi!  If you just want to chill out there are 2 relaxation areas with sun loungers.

For some extra TLC you can book on for spa treatments from the Thalgo spa on site (4 treatment rooms - book and pay on site)

If you still need extra exercise you can work out in the fitness room!

The swimming pool complex and fitness room is open 10:00  - 12:00 and then 15:00 to 20:00. Closed on Saturdays.
