Host Savoie is a small and friendly chalet operator in Morzine (France), and nothing but extra-mile service is good enough for our loyal guests.
We are all about hearty, honest food which fills people up nicely after a day on the slopes. If your main purpose when cooking is providing your guests with a fresh, carefully cooked meal that they will enjoy, then you are exactly what we are looking for.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for shopping, cooking and preparing breakfast and a three course evening meal (following recipes for some meals), baking an afternoon tea and keeping your kitchen and storage areas clean.
A strong customer service ethos is required for all members of our team and you will be expected to work with other team members to meet and greet guests, assist with changeover days etc.
The package includes 2 days off; accommodation, competitive wage, all you need to go skiing or snowboarding, pre-season training and more.
Requirements for the Chalet Cook are:
* Experience in a commercial kitchen - However, a cooking qualification is not compulsory.
* Driving licence is compulsory (own vehicle a plus)
* EU passport holders or applicants with a French residency certificate are desirable, but we are also happy to consider UK passport holders subject to being approved for a French work permit and seasonal working visa.
