We are looking for an established couple or a pair of friends to help run a 22-30 bed Alpine Chalet in the spectacular Italian Dolomites: friendly and engaging people with a passion for food and a flair for cooking to join a small, friendly resort team.
You would be cooking for up to 30-35 people. As well as the domestic management of the chalet (cleaning, food ordering etc.) you would be making breakfast and a three-course evening meal six days a week, with one full day off. One half of the couple acts as the chalet chef, the other as one of the hosts with a big commitment to daily cleans.
The emphasis is on creating a home from home' atmosphere and providing excellent home cooked food' to a dinner party standard: it must be special. Previous experience of cooking for numbers would be a massive advantage.
You would need to be great team players, tolerant, understanding and empathetic as you would be working as part of a bigger team to run the chalet. The rest of the team are our Walk Organisers who accompany our guests on mountain walks every other day. They are also your fellow Hosts' in the chalet, with as much responsibility to the day to day running and hospitality as you. They take it in turns to help with the domestic management of the place: cleaning, washing up, dinner service etc.
On top of a seasonal wage, en-suite accommodation in the chalet and full board is provided, with transport to resort and insurance covered.
Starting 19th May until the end of September.
