Hardworking, conscientious english housekeeping/domestic couple looking for chalet work in the Alps for 2017/18 winter season- Beatrice and James.
At present, we are the live-in housekeepers for five buildings owned by Vaxton Ltd, of which three properties are leased out by The Landmark Trust. Our job role includes weekly changeovers for the Landmark properties and day-to-day responsibility for the entire site, such as; all laundry, looking after guests throughout their stay and maintenance of the buildings. As the only permanent onsite staff, we are on call 24/7 to deal with any issues the guests may have during their visit. Often, our other duties include DIY (painting walls, fixing taps, mending furniture and other minor jobs), chopping firewood and building fires. We also organise annual maintenance for the buildings such as fire extinguisher checks and chimney sweeping. We are highly competent cleaners, with an eye for detail and have strengths in using initiative and client-orientated customer service.
We both hold clean UK driving licences, James is a confident driver of four years now. Beatrice speaks and writes french to A Level standard and we have both lived in France for the past six months. We would be happy to take on any childcare roles (past experience) and care for animals. We are always enthusiastic, willing to learn and easily adapt to new tasks.
