Location: Samoëns | We can offer an enormous double room in our catered chalet over christmas. Its a new build chalet that we commissioned, and its fitted out as a light, modern, stylish mountain retreat.
We're an hour from Geneva, and just 3 minutes to the slopes in our courtesy transport.
The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the villages and up in the Flaine bowl. There's local ski schools & ski hire at both Samoens & Morillon - and we can help with getting both fixed up for you.
We're just a 5-10 minute walk to the village of Morillon, or 5-10 minutes on the free ski-bus into the bigger Samoens. Samoens has lovely shopping, cafes/bars, ice-skating, botanical garden & spa facilities - so good for any non-skiing days. We can also arrange 'fat-biking' (bikes specially adapted to be ridden on snow), snow-shoe walks and paragliding trips you.
Our food is more Jamie Oliver than than fine dining, the style is relaxed, and of course wine is included. And more often than not, there's a tot of single malt in the coffee too Catered service includes breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee/cake everyday - and 3 course dinner 6 out of the 7 nights - leaving you one night to explore the local restaurants.
We have a new installed out-door hot-tub (we've tried it out - its great), and the sauna kit has been delivered. We should have worked out how to assemble it before the ski season!
The price is €860 per person per week.

I can offer you a bed & breakfast holiday at Chalet Sherpa in Morzine - just an hour and 20 minutes drive from Geneva airport and part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski region.
You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day. Bags can be stored and there are shower/change facilities available on arrival and departure days so you can maximise your time on the slopes.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our on-site Sherpa bar offers snacks and dinner every night so you can choose either to eat in or sample one of the local restaurants in the evening.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.

A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.
