I am looking for a chalet or other for the first week of April. Unfortunately the group will be looking to come back on Friday 7 April due to commitments on the Saturday, and so looking to book flights myself.
Happy to consider most options but preference would be high altitude and good nightlife / apres.

Location: Les Deux Alpes | Hello Alex,
Since you are interested in high altitude resorts as well as Alpe d'Huez, then you should consider our chalet, Chalet Morville, as, although Les 2 Alpes is our nearest resort, it is one of the highest in France, and it is possible to ski in Alpe d'Huez with the Les 2 Alpes skipass. Les 2 Alpes also has a lively apres ski scene.
We have availability for the first week in April, which we can offer to your group for 600 Euros per person (about £510).
The chalet is well appointed with 5 bedrooms, all with ensuite, an outdoor hot tub, sauna, gym with Wii, games room with pool table, cinema room with leather recliners and Xbox 360 and a spacious lounge with several separate seating areas and a woodburning stove.
We also have restaurant quality catering, and cakes and breakfasts are our chef's specialty. Hannah's pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are divine, and her popcorn cheesecake has been popular with our guests (see our recent reviews on Trip Advisor).

Sorry for slow response, have had a chalet full of family for a long weekend!
We would be delighted to offer you 6 nights (1st to Fri 7th) here at Chalet La Luge, in the resort of La Tzoumaz, directly connected to Verbier. Situated at 1578m and north facing slopes, we have a great late snow record.
There are 6 en-suite bedrooms all of which can be arranged with twin or superking double beds, hot tub, sauna, separate TV/cinema room, wifi, log fire, UK adapters and USB hubs, great catering and service - see our reviews on ChaletsDirect and TripAdvis0r for proof!
We would be pleased to offer you discounts, for the missing night, and also if you can confirm within 10 days.
We are 600m from the slopes, and a very popular apres bar, 800m from the resort centre, we will drop you off every morning. Getting around at other times is easy as the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet. This year we have a new bar opposite the telecabine - resort centre, and new management at another which is open to 4am, so there's plenty to amuse you all!!
Cooked breakfast options are served every day, as are homemade cakes, evening meals on 6 nights out of 7 (5 nights out of 6!!)

I see you have posted on another forum too but have replied here.
Our holidays are priced as a package to include our return Gatwick flights so there isn't really an accommodation only price. It is possible to take our flight from Gatwick and transfer to resort on the 1st and then make your own travel arrangements home on the Friday, although it doesn't change the price!
In Val d'Isere for Sat 1st Apri, we just have Chalet Danielle available, a 6 bedroom/11 person ski in/out chalet apartment. Small bedrooms but fantastic location on the slopes and convenient to the resort centre. The chalet also has a sauna and outdoor hot tub! Chalet price is £12824.50 based on 11 adults with our Gatwick/Lyon flight and transfer on the 1st, applicable taxes and catered chalet accommodation. To make your own return travel arrangements, there is just a saving of £50pp from this.
In St Anton for Sun 2nd April, we have a choice of 4/5 or 6 bedroom chalets depending on final group size. Again, same situation with the flights though. For example, Landhaus Moos B with 5 bedrooms for 10/11 guests at £8995.50 based on 10 guests using our flight one way as before.
