| We'd like self-catered accommodation for 8 people (4 adults, 2 5-year olds and 2 3-year olds) for 10-17 February 2018.
My preference is within France, as we will be driving from the UK, but flexible on this as long as it's not too far.

We still have availability at Chalet Abbaye, St Jean d’Aulps, for the week commencing Sunday February 11th 2018.
The chalet sleeps 8 in 5 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room which opens onto a terrace with hot tub and views of the mountains. There is parking for 3 cars, free wifi and English television. We provide a welcome pack for your arrival.
Chalet Abbaye is an 80 minute drive from Geneva airport and we can recommend the local ski station of La Grande Terche. Alternatively we are just are a 12 minute drive from Ardent which links up to the whole of the Portes du Soleil. It is a short walk to the local bars and restaurants.
We can offer you the same price as this year of 3400 Euros, self catered. This price includes linen, towels and exclusive use of the chalet and hot tub.
Optional boulangerie breakfast deliveries and ski hire fitted at the chalet are available at extra cost. We can also help you to arrange childcare.

We can offer you one of our selection of self catered chalets - Chalet Tranquille - in the family friendly resort of La Tzoumaz, just the other side of the mountain from Verbier. It's about 8 hours driving time from Calais an easy route through France, coming through the border at Vallorbe, drop down to Lausanne, alongside the lake and along the valley, then 20 minutes (13km) up the mountain.
La Tzoumaz has 2 ski schools, both with good English speaking owners; there is a creche / kids club which offers mornings, afternoons, all day, with or without lunch included. Indoor swimming pool, ice rink and various activities arranged for non-skiing time.
This chalet is 600m from the nursery slope, there is parking at the chalet, and the free ski bus stops within 100m.
The chalet has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, log fire, wifi and is beautifully decorated, with a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen with fab views.

The apartment is ideally situated just one hour by road from Geneva, 8 to 9 hours drive from Calais, on the sunny slopes of the strikingly beautiful upper Giffre valley. Directly opposite are Morillon, 2.5km, (5 mins drive) and the lovely alpine village of Samoens, 5km (10 minutes drive), which link easily to Flaine, Les Carroz and 265kms of piste which form the Grand Massif range, Frances 4th largest ski area.
You can find a selection of restaurants and an artisan bakery in Verchaix 1.5km down the hill, and Morillon village centre is 2km where you will find the tourist office, ESF, restaurants, bars, , and shops. The nearest supermarket is 3km. In winter there is a ski bus stop 50 meters from the apartment, but a car is recommended.

The apartment affords a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, three bedrooms and a twin bedded mezzanine area, there are no bed settees! The living room has luxurious leather reclining seating and flat screen television that will accommodate most game systems. The dining area has a large pine table that comfortably seats 8 and gives views across the valley, and access via french doors to your private balcony. There is also free Wi-Fi.
All this is set in the grange of an old traditional Savoyard farm house that has been recently renovated, in the picturesque village of Essert Romand in the middle of the Portes du Soleil area, this beautiful apartment is arranged over 2 floors and is full of rustic charm, original beams etc.
We are a 5 minute drive from the centre of the vibrant Morzine town centre or 200m to the ski bus which goes direct to Morzine and the Super Morzine and Pleney telecabins where you can ski Avoriaz and on into Switzerland.
