Situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. Bunkbeds can be added to make family rooms sleeping up to 4. The chalet is built over 4 floors, with a log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
Fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
No walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet dropping you off at the Gondola 400m in under a minute. We also collect you form 5 diffrent lift station late afternoon

The chalet commands a fantastic scenic location overlooking the "Lac du Chevril" and is positioned approximately 700m from the ski lifts in Les Boisses, Espace Killy.
We provide minibus transport to and from the slopes.
You will have snow sure skiing in the high altitude Resorts of Espace Killy (Tignes and Val d'Isere).
Our 5 bedroomed chalet has a cosy atmosphere with log fire, balcony, and a lovely terrace with firepit to soak up the rays.

You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. La Ferme is a beautifully renovated Savoyard farmhouse with exceptionally spacious accommodation in 6 en-suite rooms, great food prepared by a professional and quality wines. The resort itself is very friendly, with a picture post card charm, but also has a lively centre containing several good bars, arranged around a village square. The ‘Bar Le Timbale’ has live music and dj’s at the weekends. The village is part of the huge Paradiski area (consisting of La Plagne and les Arcs, offering some 425km of pistes) and the Champagny ski area is directly linked into La Plagne – you can be in La Plagne Centre in just 30 minutes. The village has an excellent local ski school and the ski hire shop we use also has a free overnight equipment store with boot warmers, meaning you can walk back to the chalet in your normal shoes instead of clomping there in big plastic ski boots!

The property is in Meribel-Mottaret. Mottaret is the highest - and most snow sure - resort in the Meribel valley and as it's situated in the middle valley of the 3 Valleys you can easily access the entire ski area. We're clearly biased, but in our opinion its the only sensible choice of resort to stay in the Three Valleys - especially with the recent warm winters.
The property was previously marketed to the top-end/luxury niche but we've altered the service and catering so that it's more relaxed/homely. You'll get to enjoy a truly wonderful place to call home.
