| I have recently taken on this chalet-hotel at Valmorel which I think would suite you well.
The lift/pistes are 50m away, the chalet has 20 beds in 8 rooms, hot-tub, wifi, huge lounge with log fire, chalet bar, great hospitality and cooking. The village centre of Valmorel is 3 minutes away via frequent free bus service that runs till 1am.
Valmorel is becoming better known, with 150m of pistes, 40 lifts, genuinely skiing for all abilities, plus everything is about 30% cheaper than the neighbouring Tarentaise mega-resorts.
So I can offer your group of 5 2 x full ensuite rooms £500 per adult.Easy drive from Calais - motorway/dual carriageway till within 15km, and avoids the awful queues further up the Tarentaise valley.

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.

I can offer catered chalet accommodation in Meribel Les Allues from Sat 16-23 Feb.
Chalet Grange a Charlotte has 7 ensuite bedrooms. It is comfortable and spacious featuring:

The chalet is not ski in ski out however we do offer a minibus shuttle in the mornings and at the end of the skiing day
