I've been tasked with finding a New Year ski break for 2 families - consisting of 4 adults, and 5 well behaved young teens and nearly teens.
Previously we have gravitated to Morzine, Avoriaz and Samoens which have been fantastic -but looking for inspiration to be honest and perhaps a bit of extra altitude? Anywhere you can fly from London or drivable from Paris would be handy. (Doesn't have to be France though).
If I could find fairly peaceful accommodation that's catered, has 5 bedrooms, a hot tub, is close to lifts/slopes and with a games room/separate kids area if possible that would be great.
I hope that's not too much to ask? Anything considered! :-)

| I have recently taken on this large chalet at Valmorel, which has up to 20 beds in 8 all full ensuite rooms. It has a large lounge area and games room and an evironmentally-friendly wood fired hot-tub. We offer full bar service if required.
Valmorel has an extensive ski area and plenty of activities/facilites for everyone (45 lifts and 185km of pistes). It'a also quite a lot less expensive then the nearby 'mega resorts' like Meribel and La Plagne.
We offer high-quality food and drink (20 years experience) in a convivial, spacious environment.
You can ski to within 50m of the door, and lifts are just accross the road.
THe chalet is 1 hour from Chambery airport, 2 hrs from Geneva/Lyon/Grenoble. Free off-road car park.
The price for w/b 27th December is €600 euros per person, or exclusive occupancy for €10000 euros.

Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have an on–site crèche, a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, sauna, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
