| We are a family of 3 adults, 2 children and 1 very well behaved Cocker Spaniel dog looking for a self catering chalet over Christmas & New Year.
We will be driving from Calais so distance from an airport is not important. However, we would prefer a high altitude resort.
There is one non skier in the family and therefore our dog will never be left alone in the chalet or allowed in the bedrooms. | At a glance:- Looking for a holiday

Location: Zermatt | Have you ever considered Zermatt, home of the iconic Matterhorn? It also has a charming village that has been looking after visitors for some 200 years as well as one of Europe's biggest ski areas with pistes at over 3800m.

We have availability in the self-catered apartment of our chalet in Morzine for 22nd Dec-5th Jan. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people, and has one bedroom that sleeps 3, and a lounge/dining room which doubles up as a 2nd sleeping area with a banquette that has 2 proper single beds (one is stored under the other and raises to the same height). It is the first level of the chalet, which looks out onto the garden and the spectacular views beyond, and has:
• Self-contained apartment with private entrance
• Bedroom
• Lounge/dining room with TV, UK Freeview channels, DVD player and PlayStation & games
• Bathroom (shower, sink & WC)
• Kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave)

• Ski storage with boot blowers
The chalet is a mile from the village centre, and only a short hop on the free shuttle bus which stops nearby. We can assist with several additional services such as airport transfers, externally catered evening meals (from £15pp for main course), ski equipment hire (the ski rental shop offers free overnight storage of ski gear and is located next to the lift station), and restaurant bookings

NEVER WALK IN SKI BOOTS as all equipment is left in ski shop next to lift.
Ski back to the shop at night.
Snow sure up to 2500m If weather inclement always possible to ski in the trees giving protection so can always ski .
Snow already good from the top of the telecabine.We get very good snow !! Better than I more famous neighbours.
Flaine and Grand Massif villages are in top 4 every year for best snow.
Carrefour supermarket 5 mins away in a car
Easy drive 8 hrs Calais to chalet, motorway all the way except last 30mins and that road always kept clear.
We would love to welcome you to Chalet Esprit. Its perfect for a family Christmas. Christmas Eve there are all sorts going on and a parade with "Father CHristmas " french style in Samoens 2 mins down the road.
