| Considering to take the family on a ski holiday. Mum, daughter #1, Stella who is 4 and daughter #2, Esther who is 1. The aim is to have a sweet family break and get Stella into ski school and maybe a little playtime with Esther on a sledge and a piste side cafe or two to relax in. We went last year and the only person who got skiing was Stella and I was fine with that. However if we could get her into a ski school then mum or dad would like an hour or two on the hill also. I hope to be able to arrange a private transfer and ski school and maybe we could get some help with that from you? and ideally the chalet or hotel would have things to do for the one year old and parent at home. That would likely be for half the day at least, or there should be some town near by with interests too.
We obviously need snow on the nursery pistes to be of any interest for Stella's ski school.
Really hope to hear from you and we maybe we could make something work.
We could travel for a week on the 7th or 8th..

0ur apartment Hammerrain would suit you very well. We have space for week 7-14 March 20. Top Floor of the block, 3 Bedrooms and fabulous views on to the Pistes in Flachau, part of the huge Ski Amade area in Austria. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably and is only a 50 min transfer from Salzburg Airport. I can do you a deal and let you have the apartment for only €800 for the week, including all taxes, laundry, cleaning costs and our meet and greet service. For a budget option you can't go wrong. Cheap Transfers, Village based so prices in the Supermarkets are good value, 20m to ski bus which is 3 mins to lifts and prices on the mountain are about 20% cheaper than France, especially if you stick to the menus of the day. Oh and flights from London are currently as low as £62 per person for that week.
For Ski Schools I'd recommend the Fischis Ski school in Flachau which does fantastic "All inclusive" Family lessons with ski hire etc. Plus, the Ski Amade does a two parent, 1 toddler ski pass deal if you are splitting child care duties. If the snow cover is not great then the higher nursery slopes are reached via a gondola up and down to make things easier.
So come and try somewhere different and spend the money you've saved on some of those catered chalet deals on the wonderful restaurants in and around Flachau and don't forget to try out the Therme Amade, the kids would love it.
