Hello all,

I am interested to speak with you regarding renting property for the winter season to run as a commercial business.

Since 2010 I have been employed as a resort manager for established chalet businesses, both in les Trois Vallees, and Portes du Soleil areas.
In 2012, I achieved a masters degree in business management from Edinburgh University, I focused my studies on operating a chalet business in the French Alps, examining all aspects of several successful chalet operators. This theoretical study has been strengthened by my 5 years practical experience at managerial level operating successful chalet businesses.

For the past two years I have been living in Meribel operating chalets over winter and summer seasons, developing supplier relationships and products of medium sized chalet tour operators.

I am now in the process of starting my own business, I intend to be operating from this winter, and currently in search of property that I can rent from December to April to run as a catered chalet business.

I would be keen to discuss any renting opportunities you may have for either this winter or the following...

Hi Nicola,

Located in La Combe (7km from the slopes of Saint Martin de Belleville), DDA Chalet is a 390m2 property (up to 36 persons) divided into three apartments:
- Grenier: 135m2 / 13 persons
- Grange: 95m2 / 10 persons
- Maison: 160 m2 / 13 persons
They can be combined into one, using a communication door between Grange and Maison and indoor access from Grange to Grenier. The chalet has been !totally renovated in 2008.

It totalizes:
2 parental suites with ensuite bathrooms, 2 rooms for singles with ensuite bathrooms, 9 double bedrooms,
3 cabin bedrooms with bunk beds,
10 bathrooms including 4 ensuite,
8 independent toilets,
3 kitchens / dining rooms,
3 living rooms,
A big terrace outside.

The Chalet has been run as ski chalet for 5 years (by Green Mountain Chalets, rated 4th of 20 in Saint Martin on ). For some personal reasons, Green Mountain stops its activity and the Chalet will be available from july 15, 2015.
It’s possible to rent 1, 2 or 3 housings, depending on the season and the needs. Housings not rented as catered ski chalet will be rented as self-catered.
