Alpe d’Huez is a high altitude resort, ensuring great skiing conditions throughout the season. Fantastic for skiers and boarders of all levels.
The main lounge and dining room feature a log fire, honesty bar, English Sky TV, DVD player, DVD’s, Wii U & games and classic family board games. Free Wi-Fi throughout.
Each guest room is en-suite and has a TV and DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge.
We have a hot tub and sauna at your leisure. We also have a very friendly Bernese mountain puppy!
Our Catered rates include a luxury continental breakfast with a hot option on alternate days, afternoon tea and a full 3 course dinner.
Evening meals are cooked by an award winning chef and highlight the best regional and seasonal ingredients.
Dinner is served 6 nights out of 7. This allows you to experience one of the many mountain-side restaurants in Alpe d’Huez.
We are situated a short distance from the main ski area, offering a peaceful retreat after a day on the slopes. We recommend our guests hire a car from the airport. Chalet Soleil is a popular cosy chalet refurbished for the 2015/16 ski season and it is in a prime position in La Plagne 1800 being only 30 meters from the main chairlift and slopes. | Thanks for your enquiry. We can offer you rooms in our Chalet Marmotte, sleeps 19, on a shared basis. The chalet is located in Champagny, La Plagne, Paradiski and has some amazing facilities, including a private indoor swimming pool, outdoor and indoor hot tubs, sauna, games room and is just 400m from the pistes and lift.
The chalet has lovely views across the valley to Courchevel, leading onto a snowy meadow which is ideal for tobogganing.
We have a great team of chefs again this year, so we know the food is good!

The resort is very picturesque but also has a lively centre containing several good bars, arranged around a village square. The ‘Bar Le Timbale’ has live music and dj’s at the weekends. The village is part of the huge Paradiski area (consisting of La Plagne and Les Arcs, offering some 425km of pistes) and the Champagny ski area is directly linked into La Plagne – you can be in La Plagne Centre in under 30 minutes. The village has an excellent local ski school and the ski hire shop we use also has a free overnight equipment store with boot warmers, meaning you can walk back to the chalet in your normal shoes instead of clomping there in big plastic ski boots!

We have availability at la petite buche for your dates, the chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire. We are both chefs in Crete during the summer season so you will be well fed.
The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, the telecabine to the slopes is just the other side of the village centre. Le grand bornand is only an hour from geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike. We are quite happy to organise transfers for you, reduced ski hire, and can organise lessons, and ski schools with enough notice. It's your holiday and we are happy to help you as much as we can.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 14 Two Triples and four double rooms.
