Ideally a resort that will be reasonably quiet, but snow sure, and suitable for both children, beginner/intermediates and advanced skiers. Location: Nendaz, 4 Vallées | Secret Alps in Nendaz would suit you perfectly. It is about 3 hours drive from Zurich and has private parking for 2 vehicles at the door.
Nendaz is a family friendly resort, geared up for children. Secret Alps is within walking distance of the lift and from there you can access the 4 Valleys ski domain. There is enough to keep everyone happy and busy, whatever the ability. The ski sector in Nendaz is perfect for very young children with lots of outsize snow toys, a baby magic carpet and tipis for serving hot chocolate. Beyond that, of course, are miles of red and black runs. Then there are itineraires for confident skiers.
Secret Alps is a 5 star duplex penthouse with 4 double/twin bedrooms, 2 large lounges and a steam room. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. Our weeks run from Sunday to Sunday, so this one would start 19 February.
The price, self-catered, is CHF4,400. We can supply an evening meal, freshly made, delivered to the kitchen.
