Apartment La Terrasse’ is a 118m² luxury 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom self catering property sleeping 8 adults and 4 children. It comprises of a spacious modern sunny south facing open plan living, kitchen and dining area, use of shared Jacuzzi and ski room, public bar and reception services. Flexible dining options are available – we can delivery freshly baked croissants and bread to your door!
The apartment is ideally situated just one hour by road from Geneva, on the sunny slopes of the strikingly beautiful upper Giffre valley. Directly opposite are Morillon, 2.5km, (5 mins drive) and the lovely alpine village of Samoens, 5km (10 minutes drive), which link easily to Flaine, Les Carroz and 265kms of piste which form the Grand Massif range, Frances 4th largest ski area.
You can find a selection of restaurants and an artisan bakery in Verchaix 1.5km down the hill, and Morillon village centre is 2km where you will find the tourist office, ESF, restaurants, bars, , and shops. The nearest supermarket is 3km. In winter there is a ski bus stop 50 meters from the apartment.

Location: Samoëns | We can offer sole occupancy of our newly built catered chalet, with outdoor hot tub, during that week.
There's 5 ensuite bedrooms, with 4 of them being easy triples/quads. We can move double/single beds around according to group make-up. They’re all proper kings/doubles/single beds - not a bunkbed in sight.
We're an hour from Geneva (transfers can be easily booked online at www.gomassif.com). And its just 3 minutes to any of the local lifts in our shuttle bus if on a catered basis. If you're self-catering, the ski bus is just 160m away at the end of the road.
The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the villages and up in the Flaine bowl. There's local ski schools & ski hire at both Samoens & Morillon, or there's an option to get skis/boards delivered direct to the chalet. Lift passes can be booked online and send direct to us too, saving hassle on the first day.
Our food is more Jamie Oliver than fine dining, the style is relaxed, and of course wine is included. And more often than not, there's a tot of single malt in the coffee too. Catered service includes breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee/cake everyday - and 3 course dinner 6 out of the 7 nights - leaving you one night to explore the local restaurants.
We're just a 5 minute walk to the village of Morillon, or 5-10 minutes on the free ski-bus into the bigger Samoens. Samoens has lovely shopping, cafes/bars, ice-skating, botanical garden & spa facilities - so good for any non-ski days.

We do have our catered chalet available for those dates, but we also have a very suitable self catered ski in/ski out chalet available for those dates and in your budget. Town centre, all amenities within 2-300m, including swimming pool and ice rink for non-skiing time.
La Tzoumaz is a lovely family friendly resort with lots of skiing this side of the mountain, but you can also head over to Verbier and beyond as there is direct lift access.
La Tzoumaz is not priced the same as Verbier and it's only 1h 40 from Geneva, with autoroute all the way except for the last 20 minutes up the mountain.
We produce lift passes in-house with 5% discount and rental equipment with 15% discount.

The Nassfeld Ski Arena, in the southern state of Carinthia and right on the Italian border, is vast, snow sure and sunny with 110km of pistes, 30 modern cable cars and lifts and incomparable mountain views. | We hope Les Gets and Chalet Saffron may be of interest to you. Les Gets which is only a 75 minute transfer from Geneva, is part of the vast Portes du Soleil and has great snow sure conditions all winter due to its position in relation to lake Geneva.
The chalet has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are on the upper floor and 2 of these rooms also have bunk beds, so are ideal for families. There is a bedroom under the main floor in which there are twin beds and a fold down double. This studio has its own entrance and living area with kitchen. The main floor has the living are, dining room and kitchen along with the bathroom and where the upper floors are booked the main floor is only used by quests booking these rooms.
The chalet comes catered with your meals at the Hotel Christiania in Les Gets. You also get full use of our facilities such as the 2 outdoor hot tubs, free Wifi and you have full use of our ski and boot room. The Christiania is ski in ski out and 300 m from Chalet Saffron.
