| Hi,
My fiancé and I are looking to get married in the Alps next winter, either Jan 18 or late March 18. There will be between 25 and 40 guests, some staying for a long weekend, whilst we hope most will stay for a full 7 day holiday.
We are looking for a large fully catered chalet for the main group (7 days), and additional accommodation for the rest.
Ideally we would find a large chalet capable of holding the wedding reception. Alternatively, smaller chalets if you know of a suitable reception venue close by (restaurant/ bar?). The ceremony will be symbolic only (non-legal) as we are not French residents, and very relaxed. Think of it more as a snowboarding holiday with a wedding, rather than a formal wedding setup.
We are open to ideas in any resort, however it must be in the actual resort rather than a drive away.
Cost is tight, 7 days fully catered accommodation needs to be under £500 per person.

Congratulations! We have a solution for you. We have 2 incredible chalets right next to each other in Plagne 1800, the larger one sleeps up to 21 and the other sleeps up to 12 so that's 33 in total. We also have another chalet in the same village that sleeps another 11. The price in January is normally around £650 per person but we could do a price of £500 per person if you were to take all all 44 beds. Chalet Blanchot and Chalet Orshanti are currently rated no.1 & no. 2. on Trip Advisor for the whole of the Savioe region based on guest reviews (out of over 1700 properties).
All 3 chalets have professional chefs & outdoor hot tubs and 2 of the 3 have sauna. Chalet Orshanti (the 21 man chalet) even has its own full HD 100" 10 Seater Cinema so its truly unique in this respect.

Our chalet has a lovely warm and friendly home from home atmosphere, nestled in a pretty village just a few minutes from one of Austria’s top ten resorts –Nassfeld Ski Arena with 110km of crowd free, snow sure slopes. You can even ski or snowboard into Italy to sample authentic Italian pizza and pasta thanks to the resort’s unique location right on the border. The free shuttle takes you from the hotel to the gondola in under 4 minutes!
Guests can choose from en-suite single, double, family rooms and a quadruple room with an inter-connecting door. Most have southerly facing balconies with stunning views of the Carnic Alps. We can accommodate 50 guests.
Evening meal is served in the chalet's renovated Austrian style lounge/dining room which is cosy and candlelit at night - the perfect place to unwind with a drink after a delicious home cooked three course evening meal. Our dining room has a bar and can seat up to 50 persons, so it would be ideal for your wedding reception.

| Sounds like a lovely idea!
We have hosted a wedding group at our stunning Chalets in Nendaz. There are two linked sleeping a max of 31 and we have other chalets within 50 metres.
The other idea i would like to present is to make a group booking through us at clubmed ski, i have listed their avoriaz and valthorens solutions. Although it wouldn't be quite as private as a chalet it would have the huge plus of having everything included from flight, transfer, full board (free drinks), lunch also 7 days, the ski pass for the week and lessons or non skiier activities. If any children are travelling there are kids clubs at many also.

My wife and I got married in a symbolic ceremony on the top of a mountain In Morzine , so we know exactly what it takes to make it work!
The Chalet itself sleeps 36 people and we often use nearby chalets for overflow accommodation and for short and long stays if the group is bigger than 36.
Depending on the numbers then we could either hold the reception at the chalet or in a venue nearby, there are lots of options locally.
