Samoens is a fantastic traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height. Most of the skiing starts at the top of the main gondola at 1600m.

Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.

We would love to look after you at La petite buche, we do have availability for your dates. The chalet sits just below road, overlooking the river borne, it’s warm and cosy with everything you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday.
Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75

La Ferme is a beautifully renovated Savoyard farmhouse with exceptionally spacious accommodation in 6 en-suite rooms, great food prepared by a professional and quality wines.

Location: Grand Massif Ski Area | We would love to welcome you to stay with us at our owner run Chalet Alpe Massif, in Morillon, part of the Grand Massif ski area with Flaine at 2500m. We are less than an hour drive from Geneva airport.
We are conveniently located between the quaint ski villages of Morillon and Les Esserts and 5kms from Samoens, located for easy access to the Grand Massif ski area which links 6 ski resorts via the lift systems. There is 265kms of pistes and we guarantee there is a brilliant range of slopes for differing abilities. We are 200m from a blue run or we take & collect you to/from the lifts if you prefer.
We have all the facilities you need to make your ski break enjoyable and comfortable. We have a large living room with real log fire,a separate dining room with flexible seating arrangements.
