| Hello we are looking for a week in a catered chalet for 2 adults and one child aged 9.
We are beginners and would like activities to do other than skiing aswell.
Max per person £1200
Being able to walk to slopes, lifts please.
If the resort has outdoor pool and other activities that would be appreciated.
Preferably catered with a transfer not too long from the airport.
A good atmosphere with cafes and bars would also be good.

Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
Chalet Plan des Rochers is 80 meters from the hotel and can be booked for exclusive use or by individual bedrooms. Fully catered and staffed with the same standards and facilities as our hotel, Plan des Rochers also benefits from an excellent ski to door location.
Chalet des Amis is next door to Au Coin du Feu so can be used as a private chalet or as an annex to the hotel. It sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, is ski to door and shares the spa facilities of the hotel. It has it's own private chef but there is the option of joining guests at Au Coin du Feu if there is space in the dining room.
Chilly Powder offer the full package – we have onsite childcare, can arrange transfers and we’ll even have your lift pass ready by breakfast on the first morning of your stay with us.

Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre with its shops bars and restaurants is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height. The lift from the village takes you to 1600m were the ski schools meet and the skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine.

The Lovely Chalet Company is based in La Plagne 1800, a perfect snow sure resort for beginners. Chalet Marmotte is a newly renovated fully catered chalet recently awarded 4 Stars it has the WOW factor.
We are a short 5 minute walk to the slopes, on a quiet track offering magnificent views over the valley. We are just a minutes’ walk from the bus stop offering free access around the resort, giving you alternative skiing options. We have partnered with Oxygene Ski School who offer a pick-up service from the chalet, perfect for beginners, we can give you details.
For 18th February to 25th February we have a twin room and an adjacent single room available. We have two families (different groups) with young children staying that week. The price is £3000 including bed, breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and a four-course dinner (with complementary wine and beer) on 6 nights.
We have styled and decorated Chalet Marmotte to a very high standard with a vintage, modern rustic feel. Boasting underfloor heating throughout, a wood burner, comfy sofas and a hot tub we have created a wonderful cosy feel for guests.
Our hot tub has stunning views from our balcony across the Tarentaise Valley and our The White Company dressing gowns will keep you warm! The children will love our mezzanine area with toys and games for them to enjoy.
Rich and I own the chalet as well as act as hosts; we live in La Plagne throughout the year and we have a great advantage over our local competitors as we know the area intimately. We do not employ staff, it really is a family affair!
