Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village. Vaujany is a family friendly village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice skating rink and daily animations.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is a high resort and superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.
The chalet sleeps 19 in 8 en-suite bedrooms of which; 6 double/twin rooms, one triple room and one family suite.
There is lots of space for everyone to enjoy their evening as they please. Whether it’s sat in the hot tub watching the sunset, reading a book by the log fire or having a drink in our bar.

You’ll see we have a unique ski to door location near the Prodains gondola to Avoriaz… no hiking with skis, no squeezing on buses. On our website there's also a 360 degree tour – you can see all our bedrooms so there will be no surprises when you arrive!
Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, sauna, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
On Christmas day we have a visit from Santa in the afternoon while the parents enjoy champagne and canapés. We then have a big Christmas dinner for all of the adults and children together.

I can see you've got a lot of responses, but I thought it was worth us responding just in case we're exactly what you're looking for 
 
 
We're based at Samoens 1600 which was recently named by National Geographic magazine as having the 'one of the best snow records in Europe' (due to proximity to Mont Blanc). We're also just a 60 - 70 minute transfer from Geneva airport, and then our chalet is just a 3 minute drive from the pistes so we drop you right on the edge of a blue, red or green piste, hence no walking at all in your ski boots.
We've already got two other families booked in for Christmas week, so I can offer you our last few rooms which are all quadruple rooms and ensuite. Each room has a double bed and then two full size single beds tucked around the corner so you do have a degree of separation - see our photos here: http://www.ski-massif.com/the_chalet#rooms
That week we charge 845 Euros per person INCLUDING transfers from Geneva, however, I'd be willing to offer you a 10% discount for the two families that would be sharing the large family suites.

Food is exceptionally important to us and we can promise you food way beyond the usual chalet menu. We have a Certificate of Excellence on Trip Advisor so please do have a look to see what other guests think of us. The above price includes cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea with home-made cakes and four course evening meal with wine on six nights.
We shuttle you to and from the lifts of your choice everyday so you don’t need to worry about walking or waiting around for ski buses. The local lifts at Pleney, Ardent, Prodain or Super Morzine are around 10 minutes drive away and we also have a smaller, unlinked resort called Roc D’Enfer just two minutes from the chalet which is a real hidden gem.
The chalet has an outside hot tub, sauna, large lounge area with open log fire and separate bar area with well stocked honesty bar. We are within walking distance of local shops, bars and restaurants.
