| I am looking for a chalet or similar in the Megeve or Les Contamines area, from the 14th to 20th or 21st February. We are 2 adults and 3 children (3, 6 & 10 years old).
We'd like to stay near the slopes, alternatively near a bus stop - either way not too far from the slopes. We will be snowboarding so if anyone knows the best areas for this, that would be useful too!
Our budget is below £2k for the week.

We have availability in the self-catered apartment of our chalet in Morzine for 14th-20th Feb. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people, and has one bedroom that sleeps 3, and a lounge/dining room which doubles up as a 2nd sleeping area with a banquette that has 2 proper single beds (one is stored under the other and raises to the same height). It is the first level of the chalet, which looks out onto the garden and the spectacular views beyond, and has:

The chalet is a mile from the village centre, and only a short hop on the free shuttle bus which stops nearby. We can assist with several additional services such as airport transfers, a grocery drop in time for your arrival (small charge), ski equipment hire (the ski rental shop offers free overnight storage of ski gear and is located next to the lift station), and restaurant bookings

Our chalet in Haute Nendaz, part of the huge Four Valleys ski domain is available for those dates. The chalet has four bedrooms (an open plan mezzanine with a king sized and a single bed, a double bedroom, bunk room and single room on the ground floor) plus 2 bathrooms. Ther Chalet has a garage and private parking and a good range of films for adults and children alike.
Nendaz has a good selection of bars and restaurants and the tourist office arranges a variety of activities every week.
The ski slopes of Nendaz or Siviez (a great kicking off point to get to the whole of the Four Valleys, including Verbier) are a short drive or bus ride away. Sheets and towels are provided and the chalet is rented on a self-catered basis, although catering options are available if you wish.
