| Hi, we are a knackered old couple (62/59) with about 10 weeks skiing experience in 5 years since we started. We want a month (March) in the alps next year. We would like... 2 bedrooms, bathroom and some reasonable living space for 2 plus occasional visitors; and some good storage. Oh, and a real kitche with an oven! This is a trial run for a season. Parking would be good, as would a couple of shops/bars within walking distance. But out-of-resort is fine too.

I know you have requested 3 Valleys, but I wanted to reply as we have an apartment in Les Gets (Portes du Soleil) that I really feel ticks all of your boxes.
It has 3 bedrooms, an exceptional kitchen (with oven, induction hob, microwave & dishwasher) and lots of storage space - also ample free outdoor parking. It's just 5 mins walk from the village centre with its many restaurants, bars and cafes and 10 mins (500m) walk from the main ski lift, Les Chavannes.

• 1 ensuite double room

Does it have to be France?? You could try the fabulous Ski Amade area in Austria. We're a little bit younger than you and work takes us to Asia for the next two years somewhat cutting back our skiing but perhaps giving you an opportunity to come to Flachau?
We have 3 bedrooms, one large double and two twins. The apartment is on the top floor with fabulous views of the Hermann Meir World Cup Piste and only 20m from the ski bus and two minutes to the lifts
Flachau is an amazing location and prices on the mountain are about 20% cheaper than French resorts. We are only 45 mins from Salzburg Airport and flights are similar in cost to Geneva.
