I'm looking at taking my family (wife, 4yr + 1yr old) on our first ski holiday next season for a long weekend in March. I'd like to be close to nursery slopes, have access to a babysitter and have space to relax in the evening.
I think smaller resorts would make more sense for our needs, but am open to options that aren't too far from Geneva.
Based on previous holidays, I'm hoping to spend around £100per adult per night for catered accom, and assume the kids will be significantly less.

Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to a height of 2500m. The lift from the village takes you straight to 1600m where the ski schools meet and the nursery areas are located.
The price would be £463 per adult and £324 for the 4 year old and £150 for the 1 year old so £1400 in total. This includes
Transfers from Geneva (just over 1 hour away)
Private transfers within resort each day to and from the lift stations, nurseries or other activities
Breakfast including hot options
Afternoon Tea
Childrens meals
Prosecco and canapes
4 course dinner with wine (3 days)

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:

We have availability in Chalet Kavakia, Les Gets between 4th - 23rd March for €450 per adult, and €400 per child over 2yo (based on a 5 night stay).
The chalet is on the bus route a 20 minute walk from the town and we offer transport to and from the ski lifts
Les Gets is just over an hour away from Geneva airport and has some great skiing for all the family, form beginners slopes to gentle greens and blues, plus more difficult runs.
