| Considering a hastily arranged short trip for solo snowboarder for next week. Flights would be into and out of Geneva, arriving 1530 on Tuesday 4th (maybe Monday 3rd) and departing 1700 on Friday 7th.
Short trip so short transfer preferred. Already been to Grand Bornand / La Clusaz this season so definitely not interested in going back there and had a week in Portes du Soleil last season so would prefer somewhere else, but open to suggestions.
Not looking to hire a car, so either transfers included or easy (with Alpybus or OuiBus or train)

Chalet Nordchamp is only an hour from Geneva airport, so nice short transfer times. The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the tree-lined villages and high-up above the tree line in Flaine (2,500m). We hate walking in ski/board boots and reckon guests do too, so we offer a free minibus shuttle for lift drop-off & pick-up. Its just 2-4 minutes to the lift, depending on which of the 3 you choose… so probably less walking in ski boots than a ski in/out chalet!
We can help with maximising snow time on a short break by organising:
- Airport transfers
- Ski/Board hire direct to the chalet
- in chalet lift pass sales
- early check-in and late check-out
We’re passionate about food & great ingredients. Meals are relaxed and plentiful, and of course decent bottled wine is included. Catered service includes breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee/cake everyday; and a fizz apéro followed by a 3 course dinner each night on a short break.

In-between where you've been. 1hr10mims from GVA...
     
The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to Samoëns 1600, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. An idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up and back to the slopes.
I will drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of people taking 40 minutes to come up from the villages. You can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.
