| I’m looking to book a family Christmas holiday with 50th birthday on 26th December - therefore need 20 - 27 December to avoid travelling on the birthday.
We’re after sole occupancy of a catered chalet for 6 adults, 3 children (will be 15, 12 and 7). 4 adults will be non skiers so there must be walking trails, ideally a swimming pool and a town within easy reach. They will want a comfortable sized lounge area in the chalet.
The resort should have reliable snow at Christmas and easy access to ski school (no busses or minibus journeys!) as the 7 year old has only skied for 1 week before and his parents don’t ski.
At least one bedroom needs a shower (not over bath). A hot tub would be good too!
We’ve been to Morzine several times over Christmas with disappointing snow so will avoid there. | At a glance:- Looking for a holiday

We would be delighted to welcome you to Chalet La Luge in the resort of La Tzoumaz, an alternative to Verbier with all the same great skiing, and quieter, gentler slopes this side of the mountain.
We have 6 rooms all with en-suite facilities, which can be arranged with twin or super-king double beds.
All rooms have hairdryers, multi UK adapters, bedside USB hubs; bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are supplied.
Situated at an altitude of 1576m we are 600m from the pistes inc nursery, and very popular après bar, 800m from the resort centre.
This is our 12th winter and we have always been able to ski at Christmas, pistes are from 1500m to 3300m
To make life easy we'll drop you off every morning, getting back is easy, the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet.
We have both a hot tub and sauna, separate cinema/Smart TV/play room, log fire, wifi throughout, as well as a computer linked TV in the living room.
We serve cooked breakfast options on all 7 days, there's freshly made home-made cakes/biscuits on all 7 days and a 5 course evening meal on 6 nights.
