A ski locker can be rented in the village centre so you could walk to St Martin de Belleville (~25-minute walk) in normal shoes and leave you ski gear there.
Absolutely beautiful family chalet sleeping up to 11 guests with 5 bedrooms, and views over the mountains. We really recommend this chalet as an affordable option in the largest ski area in the world

Location: La Combe, St Martin de Belleville, 3 Valleys | Hi Rob,
Chalet Ferme de La Combe is a great house for groups like yours (I regularly host a group of 8-10 friends in early Jan). It is a large house (230 Sq M) facing south over the village of La Combe, a traditional Savoyard hamlet, less than 10 minutes drive from St Martin de Belleville. From here you can access the whole of the Three Valleys. The car park at St Martin is opposite the gondola - 2 minute walk.
The house, which has been awarded 5 "Flocon d'Or" by the Belleville tourist authority, provides comfortable, high-standard accommodation with:
- 5 en-suite bedrooms (1 double, 4 twins)
- Large relaxing space round a wood burning stove, with TV, DVD etc.
- Large dining area
- Modern, fully-equipped kitchen with range cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher
- Utility room with sinks, microwave and washer-dryer
- Underfloor heating in all rooms
- Ski/boot storage with underfloor heating for boot drying
- Private parking for 3/4 cars.
All linen and towels are supplied (beds made up on arrival) and we provide a full supply of kindling and logs for the wood burner.
We are self-catered but you can use our catering partner HUSKI (www.hu.ski) who provide evening meals for you to heat up when you return from ski/apres (also breakfast if you like but we normally just shop at Moutiers for this). HUSKI prices below are based on their website.
Your week is currently free (Saturday or Sunday changeover) and the price is 2,200€. If you choose to use HUSKI the total cost = 2,200€ (house) + ~1,400€ (6 3-course evening meals) = 3,600€ so 450€ or £386 pp per week half catered.
