We are looking to sneak in a couple of days of early season skiing. Couple seeking one double room. We arrive in Geneva early Friday morning (18th December) and depart late Saturday evening (19th December). Just looking for 1 nights accommodation in a resort convenient to Geneva. All types of catered accommodation considered. We could hire a car but if anyone can include transfers in their offer that would be great. I know some resorts only plan on opening on Saturday 19th December but we want to ski on Friday 18th also.

We have an ensuite room available in Chalet Cannelle in Chatel, the centre of the Portes du Soleil.
The chalet itself is a 200 year old cowshed lovingly renovated to keep the quirks and charm but with all the modern luxuries you want after a day in the alpine air. Spacious open plan lounge, with open fire and views of the Abondance valley and plenty of seating for everyone. The chalet is on the edge of the village in a quiet hamlet, with a hot tub right under the mountains.
We aren't offering catered for that weekend so it will be B&B, but I can offer a late check out for you on the Saturday so you can ski then return to the chalet to refresh up before your flight.
Chatel is 90 minutes from Geneva and Chatel and the Avoriaz link is open from the 12th December (and already plenty of snow on the pistes!)

Location: La Plagne | Our chalet-hotel is in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.

The chalet is in a stunning location, just 10 minutes walk to the Super Morzine lift and two minutes to the free shuttle buses which whisk you up to Ardent, Pleney or Prodain.
