7 nights’ catered accommodation at a rate of 849 euros per person (that's just £730 at today's exchange rate). Chalet Hattiers plus apartments sleeps 35, has been newly renovated and refurbished for winter 2013 and is a 2 minute walk from the slopes and village centre. Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Kerry,
We can accommodate up to 22 in our catered chalet at Samoens 1600 which is just a 60 minute transfer from Geneva. We're very close to the skiing (it's a 3 minute drive in our minibus and Landrover and we drop you directly onto a red, blue or green slope.
We can seat 22 in our huge living room which has open fireplace and access directly into our garden with outdoor hot tub which has fabulous views of the pistes and mountains.
We can also seat 22 in our dining room although I suspect you would want to take advantage of our earlier dinner for the children. The adults then have dinner whilst the kids watch a film in our tv snug or play pool in the games room. We serve aperitifs (G&Ts, cremant or mojitos for example) followed by a 3 course dinner served with a choice of 10 bottled wines.
The Grand Massif domaine is a bit of an undiscovered gem so the queues are generally shorter and the prices lower than the other more well known resorts although it is actually the fourth largest in France.
For 7 days we would charge 850 euros per adult and 600 euros per child aged 2 to 15 for the Christmas week and 950 euros per adult and 700 euros per child for the NYE week. If you booked for more than 15 you would get 1 adult place for free and if you book for 20 or more you would also get a child place for free.

Soldeu is in the centre of the Grandvalira ski area of Andorra, with 210km of piste it is the largest ski domain in the Pyrenees. Grandvalira is great for all ability levels from beginner to expert, with 3 freestyle parks and plenty of off-piste. Andorra is cheaper than the Alps, with a beer in the village costing €3.50 and a meal with wine costing around €20. On the slopes, lunch with a drink is around €15 Euros per person and a hot chocolate is around €4.
Chalet Hotel Peretol is a ski-in chalet located on the edge of Soldeu and has 11 en-suite bedrooms, available on a room by room basis or exclusive use for larger groups. There is a spacious dining area, bar, and lounge area with a log fire and plenty of comfy sofas for you to relax on with views of the Sunset Park (freestyle park), which is located immediately next to the chalet.
There is also a lively bat après-ski bar with its own entrance, called Buster's Bar which has a pool table, table football and Sports TV which is open to people using the Sunset Park as well as our own chalet hotel guests.
The sole occupancy price for up to 32 people is £14,028 which includes:
- 7 nights stay
- Continental breakfast for 7 days with hot option
