| | Hi there - just thought we would repost this message are now looking to book and want to make sure what’s available, we are looking for a chalet break for two adults around the first two weeks of March. Looking for a quiet chalet with comfy lounging area and sauna/jacuzzi - returning to skiing after major accident last season so will probably only be on slopes 2-3 hrs a day and really want somewhere to be able to read and relax the rest of the time. We can accommodate your group of 4 in 2 rooms in our Chalet Gros Pierrier in Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley from 9th -16th March. I have the perfect place for you to relax in, La Ferme du Chateau.
La Ferme is a beautifully renovated Savoyard farmhouse with exceptionally spacious accommodation in 6 en-suite rooms, offering great food and quality wines in a relaxed atmosphere.
All rooms can be twin or double rooms, all of which have bath and/or shower facilities plus branded toiletries, dressing gowns, hair dryers and access to an outdoor sunken jacuzzi. The living / dining area is extremely spacious yet homely and is centered around a wood clad open fire with lots of comfy sofas in which to relax with a chilled glass of wine and canapes after a day on the slopes.
It is fully catered including breakfast & afternoon tea on each day, pre-dinner drinks & canapes, a 4- course evening meal which is accompanied by free-flowing quality wines & beer.
La Ferme is in the centre of the beautiful village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski region, offering a combination of the best of traditional French villages with the excitement of a large ski area and is 1 hr 30 mins from Geneva.
La Ferme is within walking/skiing distance of the local runs, has direct access to the Portes du Soleil, local bars including a microbrewery, shops and restaurants; but we also have in resort transport so can start from any point in the valley and can pop to Chatel to sample the apres ski there too.
A holiday at La Ferme is about comfort, relaxation and fun and we will organize everything so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

I’m pleased to let you know we have availability at la petite buche from the 8th, the chalet sits in a quiet location just below the road and looks on to the river Bourne, it's a hidden gem. The chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday. Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75
