Warm welcome assured from our large family. Sarah is English and runs Chalet Rum Doodle , Stéphane is French and is a ski instructor, mountain leader and canoeing/rafting instructor. Our two eldest children are at various stages of their ski instructors diploma and the three others are all competitive ski racers so there will be no shortage of advice!
More experienced skiers looking for a bigger ski domaine could make the short journey to Champagny en Vanoise (15 minutes) whith access to Paradiski (Les Arcs/ La Plagne) or alternatively to Courcheval (30 minutes) for access to the Three Vallies resorts.
Double rooms are 70€ per night (including breakfast)
Evening meals are 22€ per adult

The chalet, run by a Cook and Host, has a beautiful open plan living / dining area, TV/DVD and WIFI. There are 5 bedrooms and a large sun terrace, and is opposite the main lift and in the heart of the village, near many bars and restaurants.
Valmorel is fantastic for skiing and has a lovely pedestrianised village with many bars, restaurants and shops. Chalet La Ferme is located in the village of Châtel, in the Portes du Soleil ski resort. The chalet is located at appr. 5 minutes walking from the Linga gondola or you can take the ski bus that stops in front of the chalet.
The chalet is attractive, has ambience and offers nice and comfy rooms. A chalet offering value for money. The chalet has 7 guest rooms, all with en-suite shower and toilet. The well-appointed and cosy Stube has an adjacent sunny balcony. This winter all the beds in the chalet are renewed and all rooms have flatscreen TV.
Chalet La Ferme is a so called catered chalet! With our chalet staff keeping the chalet clean and tidy every day, making beds, arranging a sumptuous breakfast, afternoon tea and coffee after dinner, skipasses and ski hire if so required.
Breakfast is served every day, afternoon tea and coffee/tea after dinner is served 6 days a week. You can extend your stay in our chalet with a 3-course dinner (set menu) prepared and served by our dedicated staff for only € 17,50 per person per meal!
