Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. I see you have sort of requested Morzine - and yet the authentic ski village of Les Carroz with its 265kms of pistes (and endless off-piste!) is closer both by driving from Calais or transfer from Geneva (1 hour).
Cited by the Daily Telegraph as 'one of the best kept secrets in the French Alps' Les Carroz excels not only for its skiing choices, but also for its welcome to families.
Specifically during the Easter holidays there are events in the village especially for the children, along with the open air swimming pool at the Aquacime and the mini-golf, not to mention the Luge. Free Welcome Vin Chaud and Hot Chocolate on a Sunday at 5.30pm, with live music, is a great way to start the week!
The Tourist Office put on events such as discos, jigsaw workshops and giant games continually with younger kids in mind.
SKIING
A trip up the telecabine brings the little ones to the easy beginner ski slope with moving mats and a button lift to master. For 3-5 year olds there is the Piou Piou club based at the telecabine.
CHALET
We have had so many returning clients, that even the children who used to come are now bringing their children (and parents) to ski with us - delightful!
So our four bedroomed, 3 bathroom (full-sized bath!), chalet is available either self-catered or catered at Easter. 15 March week is also currently available.
