We are a nice family of four, with two children (8 & 11 years old). We are looking for a late deal on a catered or self-catered accommodation in any of the higher altitude resorts in France, or Verbier. The accommodation would be better if it was near the lifts (no driving).
For the fully catered option, we are happy to share with other guests.
Hopefully there are some chalets out there that are prepared to offer last minute discounts to fill up empty spaces. We can arrive on Sat 25th or Sun 26th March.
Max budget is £1000 for all four of us combined. Money is ready for immediate payment for the right location.
There is only one special request, that the accommodation is near a ski school which offers snowboarding lessons for children.

The chalet is well furnished and maintained to a very good standard and represents an affordable option for a medium sized group.
There are 4 bedrooms placed over two floors. The lounge and dining area is very comfortable with a log fireplace and French windows onto a good size balcony & sun terrace with outdoor hot tub.
The chalet is located 50 metres from the green piste of La Tania, which means you can access the resorts main bubble on your skis in the morning, and in the afternoons you can ski back to within 50 metres of the chalet.

Chalet La Fugue is in a unique position in that you can ski out and almost ski in and we are less than 5 mins walk from the centre of Meribel with its many shops, restaurants and bars.
The chalet is fabulous with 6 twin/double rooms and 4 newly renovated bathrooms, fantastic views across Meribel and the slopes, a large sun terrace, spacious living areas, and accredited for its interior decoration.

We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.
We can help you organise your ski lessons, lift passes, equipment hire and transfers if you wish as we have good links with the local providers.

The resort itself is very picturesque, but also has a lively centre containing several good bars, arranged around a village square and the ‘Bar Le Timbale’ has live music and dj’s at the weekends. The village is part of the huge Paradiski area (consisting of La Plagne and les Arcs, offering some 425km of pistes) and the Champagny ski area is directly linked into La Plagne – you can be in La Plagne Centre in just 30 minutes. The village has an excellent local ski school and the ski hire shop we use also has a free overnight equipment store with boot warmers, meaning you can walk back to the chalet in your normal shoes instead of clomping there in big plastic ski boots!
