Location: Morzine | Good morning Chris,
Morin is independently owned and managed chalet in Morzine. Built in the mid 1950s by a local architect as his family home with spacious seating and eating spaces, ideal for large gatherings of all ages. We offer a really personal service and can give you the best advice about the chalet and skiing the Portes du Soleil.
We have availability for New Year 2019. Our rooms vary from Family to twin/doubles, all with en suite or private bathrooms.
There is an enormous main sitting and dining room, a conversation pit with an inglenook fireplace, and a snug sitting room for afternoon tea and TV. Morin is a great place for large groups – you can all gather in the main reception and dining room, sneak off to catch a film on the TV, or put your feet up and read a book. Outside there is a large hot tub and south facing terrace and deck overlooking the tree lined gardens.
We also offer guests our driver and minibus service to and from the lifts daily (3+mins) and for the more adventurous, a lift into the centre of town after dinner. We also offer the usual assistance with airport transfers, lift passes and ski/board hire in the comfort of the chalet as well as safe, secure parking for up to seven cars if you want to drive.
Morin and Morzine are great for families - with so much to do both on and off the mountains.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. `it's only a few minutes walk to village centre, great supermarket, bakers, bars, restaurants shops etc. The chalet is at the side of a green piste, a short ski down to major chair lifts and access all areas of skiing/boarding. Or a 5 minute walk with your skis to chairlifts/ ski school.
As the chalet can be split into 2 separate chalets you have the benefit of 2 large long/dining rooms/ fully fitted kitchens. Smart TVs with surround sound system, there are double opening doors between the chalets. Each chalet has a garage with heated boot cupboard, laundry room. Chalet Chiron has a sauna.
There's a large balcony and decked area around the chalet.
Skiing is 1300m to 2100m, the GrandBornand ski team boast Olympic and World champions. The village is very family friendly, it's a favourite with the French.
