This is a bit of a long shot....
We are looking for an affordable self-catering property for a week from Thursday 12 February (dates are fixed).
We are eight adults/teenagers and ideally want to avoid anyone sleeping in the living room; minimum 6 beds (with 2 doubles).
Happy to have a bit of a walk or a short bus ride to the lifts; happy with basic facilities in accommodation.
Flying into Geneva; will consider reasonable-sized resorts other than those listed (except Alpes d'Huez).

We may have exactly what you are looking for as we can offer you sole occupancy of our cosy, well appointed family chalet in Morgins Switzerland from 12-19 Feb 2026 for £3,900 all in.
We have 5 double rooms (2 with double beds and 3 with two singles) and 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite). We have ndoor parking next to the door, a log fire, heated boot lockers, and there is a south facing terrace, WiFi, smart TV, and games.
Morgins is a pretty village in the heart of the Portes du Soleil and right on the border with France, 5 minutes drive from Chatel. We have been enjoying it for 15 years and believe you get the best of all worlds.
Skiing from the village is fantastic for all levels of ability. There is a new gondola perfect for accessing the Swiss side, the ski school and the iconic views of the Dents du Midi. A continuous free shuttle takes you there in 2 minutes from outside the chalet, and there is another chairlift 50 metres from our back door which takes you up to the quiet slopes of Chatel on the French side. You can access everything the Portes du Soleil has to offer easily from the doorstep.
We are less than a 1½ hour drive from Geneva Airport and we recommend picking up a car for easy transfers, it's also useful for grocery shopping (beyond the 2 small supermarkets in the village) and popping to Chatel.
Our guests enjoy a 20% discount on ski hire.
