Particularly difficult one for you here at high season, 100m from slopes and self-catered.
As a very experience host (and mother) living and working in a child-friendly and family-orientated ski resort (5th largest in France) - AND the CLOSEST to CALAIS by road - autoroute all the way - 8 hours! - PLUS we are prepared to welcome you for breakfast and store gear on arrival day, please be aware we are very happy to help you all make your holiday as hassle-free and as enjoyable as possible.
I have regularly over the last 20 years hosted families in my catered chalet in Les Carroz, central to the Grand Massif ski area, with walking access to the telecabine although 500m from the nearest piste.
With little ones I fully understand the difficulty of being on time for ski school etc, but with our private minibus service when catered (and free skibus service as a back up), getting to ski school with young ones is something we have been providing for years - especially as we have heated ski and boot lockers at the telecabine - so no walking in ski boots!
I am guessing due to budget you may be requiring self-catering and my chalet is up on a well known self catering property site for 9346 euros for the week. (£8350).
Happy to offer this to you CATERED at the same price if you are interested. Or if preferring self-catered - giving me a week off - can consider an offer if you wish to make one.
Additionally, if catered, I help with all organisation for
* Ski School
* Lift Passes
* Transfers (IF needed)
* and Heated Boot drying Ski Lockers at the Telecabine (so no walking in ski boots! especially for the little ones!).
