Chalet Sonnleitn has a lovely warm and friendly home from home atmosphere, nestled in a pretty village just a few minutes from one of Austria’s top ten resorts –Nassfeld Ski Arena with 110km of crowd free, snow sure slopes. You can even ski or snowboard into Italy to sample authentic Italian pizza and pasta thanks to the resort’s unique location right on the border.
Chalet owners Lisa and Dennis pride themselves on their warm welcome, delicious home cooked food and good value, comfortable accommodation that ensures guests return year after year.
Guests can choose from en-suite single, triple and family rooms. Most have southerly facing balconies with stunning views of the Carnic Alps.
Evening meal is served in the chalet's renovated Austrian style lounge/dining room which is cosy and candlelit at night - the perfect place to unwind with a drink after a delicious home cooked three course evening meal.
We can arrange your ski hire, ski school and ski passes without extra charge!

We can offer you two lovely en-suite rooms here at Chalet Gove for £484 per person. The price includes airport transfer and chauffer service whilst you are here and our help to organise everything for you. Along with a hearty breakfast, afternoon cake and 3 course evening meal with quality wine. Equipment, ski pass, food and drink are all very reasonably priced here which really helps if you are on a small budget.
Also if your're interested in the Rugby you can watch the Ireland v France match with us!
We have 4 fantastic, high snow sure ski areas, the largest and most commercial of which is Obertauern. The other ski areas have wonderful, wide, long crowd free slopes and lots of very reasonably priced traditional mountain bars and restaurants. There is something for every ability here. We can advise on a daily basis the best areas and slopes to ski and can ski with you to show you around if you want us to. We transport in comfort to slope side so no carrying of skis.
Inside Chalet Gove we have a large lounge with cosy seating for you to relax in, drinks, tea and coffee area with guest fridge, separate dining room, large heated equipment room, guest laundry room, table football area. There is a TV (English, sky and BT sports), media centre, table football, games and books for entertainment.
We are in a very pretty village with lots more to do here than just ski; swimming pools, beautiful walks, sledging, horse drawn carriage rides etc.
